Just a random and trivial thought ..

Is the moonwalk suppose to look like Michael's defying the gravitational pull, or is it suppose to look like him walking on the moon as it is, the way astronauts do.
Cause it doesnt look like hes walking on the moon to me :/
It looks more like hes walking on velcro or something

I think there is another move he does that is more deserving of the name, moon walk, that very slow moving dance he does during human nature in the live in bucharest concert.

Just a thought.
 
It's supposed to look like you're walking forwards, but still moving backwards. I admit the name is weird and I'm not sure who invented the name moonwalk. Was it Michael himself or the press?
 
It'd be very hard to accurately replicate what it's like to walk on the moon without some sort of gravity modification. Or, alternatively, you could just walk backwards normally and then reverse the video like they did in the '69 moon landing video.
 
I believe (and this could be wrong, lol) that it's actually called the "Back Slide". But the 360 moonwalk is what is actually termed "The Moonwalk." He just changed it up in the naming process. :)


(I'm going to check my sources to be sure though)
