donating for haiti

hey everyone,
i would be truely greatful for some ideas in order to raise some money for Haiti. i wanted to get something started at my university and would love some ideas and perhaps give others something to do in order to help. as a community i feel we can all make a difference!!!! thanks

and donation to under this Team go
to Haiti children in Michaels Jacksons honor

You could eve join this Team Michael and edit you page
to show it is sponsored by the Univertity students
who are part of Team Michael _ like I edited mine


You can start up Team under your Uninversity
or joing the Team MIchael and have yourfund raiser as an MJ theme
send out flyers and email the link and post it on facebook or maybe be
a forum you university has. Print out the forms from the UNICEF site
forms to be avaliavl to those who want to send checks or MO

Have some kind of get together with a Haiti/Michael theme
play Musis have refreshment and maybe auction off michael
meorabilia or music CDs _ ask local vendors to donate gifts to
auction off at the fundraiser for the cause _Have contests _
like the best moonwalk contest with an entry fee- winnner wins
a gift have then purchase raffle tickets and then call the number
or numbers of 3 winners _ prizes could be MJ CD,s banners Pics,
book's etc etc.. .and all proceeds go to the cause-

This are just a few ideas that came to mind-
You can do the same with other themes ..
It doesn t have to be Michael Jackson but
I love the fact the moneyis being raised in
his honor to save the lives of children in Haiti

I was watching Canada for Haiti earlier and sent in a donation.

I decided I could probably give more - this is a time to give til it hurts. Give up something for a couple of months. I couldn't get through to the American telephone site even with at least 50 calls.

For Canadians - the Canadian gov't is matching .
