A doctor who treated Michael Jackson has been ordered against his will to testify on behalf of Dr. Conrad Murray.
Dr. David Adams — a Las Vegas anesthesiologist – reportedly administered Propofol on 4 separate occasions in 2008.
Dr. Murray’s lawyers want him to testify in the manslaughter case about MJs “behavior and reactions while under the drug and also how he responded to the administration of the drug.”
Dr. Adams vehemently objected to being subpoenaed, claiming he’s a “low-key individual” and he’s already lost business because of getting dragged into the case.
TMZ has obtained a court order from a Las Vegas judge that forces Adams to testify.

what the hell is he going to add to the case..a bunch of lies...

Well, this is just what I wanted to see before turning in for the night. So this will help murray exactly how??
If Adams says Michael tolerated the propofol without problems, then this helps murray how? What will he say, weell, I felt safe leaving him alone under anesthesia because last year he tolerated it well when Dr. Adams gave it to him?? More ammunition for the prosecution. OR on the flip side, If he had problems under the propofol then murray is screwed even more.

In any case, none of this could possibly be relevant to murray abandoning his patient while under general anesthesia.
Why do I even bother to read these things...

I kinda think the headline is a little misleading in this case. I don't think anyone knows if his testimony would be on "behalf" of Murray. What we know is that he doesn't want to testify but is being forced and Murray is planning to use him to show a history of propofol of MJ. However again we don't know what will Adams testify too.

Let me copy from TMZ

Dr. Who Gave MJ Propofol Forced to Testify for Murray
5/12/2011 12:10 PM PDT by TMZ Staff

A doctor who repeatedly administered Propofol to Michael Jackson has been ordered against his will to testify on behalf of Dr. Conrad Murray ... TMZ has learned.

Dr. David Adams -- a Las Vegas anesthesiologist -- put Michael under with Propofol on 4 separate occasions in 2008.

Dr. Murray's lawyers want him to testify in the manslaughter case about MJs "behavior and reactions while under the drug and also how he responded to the administration of the drug."

Dr. Adams vehemently objected to being subpoenaed, claiming he's a "low-key individual" and he's already lost business because of getting dragged into the case.

Nonetheless, TMZ has obtained a court order from a Las Vegas judge that forces Adams to testify.

Another Jackson doctor ordered to testify for defence in Murray trial

WENN, Thursday, May 12, 2011, 2:06pm (PDT) A Las Vegas doctor who administered drugs to Michael Jackson in 2008 has been ordered against his will to testify on behalf of the King of Pop's physician Conrad Murray in his upcoming involuntary manslaughter trial.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to accusations he administered the fatal dose of anaesthetic Propofol which claimed the singer's life in June, 2009.
His defence team is preparing for the September (11) trial and his lawyers have now secured the testimony of anaesthesiologist Dr. David Adams. The medic treated Jackson in 2008 and gave Propofol to the singer on four separate occasions.
Defence attorneys have been working on landing Adams as a witness to provide testimony about the superstar's "behaviour and reactions while under the drug and also how he responded to the administration of the drug", according to court documents obtained by TMZ.com.
Adams has been fighting the request to give evidence, claiming he is a "low-key individual" whose business has already taken a hit since his name was linked to the high-profile case.
But his argument has been dismissed - during a hearing last month (Apr11), a Las Vegas judge ruled in favour of the defence team's motion to summon the anaesthesiologist to testify because it "could be relevant and material" to the case.

is this confirmed that this trial is suppose to start on September 11th??

It won't help at all.. the title is misleading.. Adams isn't testifying for Murray. If anything he will be a hostile witness. Adams has already said he gave MJ propofol for dental work which is a known and reasonable excuse to use it. Murray used it daily as a sleep aid, no medical purpose whatsoever. I have no idea how Adams will be helpful

if another doctor says he administered Propofol to Michael what that proves?that Murray was incompetent!and if someone else is guilty too that doesn't mean Murray is not!stupid!

It's my understanding that dr. Adams gave MJ propofol during medical procedures and in a medical setting. I think Murray's team is grasping at straws.

things getting complicated! can we find "truth" in this mess of be wilderness, doubts, lies and .... ?

what the hell Murry and his team are doing? does He not regret what the hell he has done to :heart:Michael, his fmaily, all the fans and the whole world? if u regret, THEN ACCEPT IT AND ACCEPT THE PUNISHMENT! 4 years in prison Max, is that what u r fighting.

i swear if u really had just a little idea on what You u've done to the world, u'd punish urself worst and never forgive urself.

Misleading story and headline imo.we know that adams is a hostile witness for the defence and he IS a witness for the prosecution. He cant help murray at all.he gave mj dip in a medical stting for medical procedures and was at that meeting in march. I doubt the defence have a clue what he will say like with thome.but are calling him in the hope of getting something as they have no witnesses of their own

The defense is saying Michael drank the stuff, aren't they?
So what bearing do they think Adams testimony will have on that theory. Adams used the medicine in an approved way, as far as we know.
I wonder if this is a way to get at Adams and find out about that visit murray and Michael made to Adams in 2009 about working for Michael. Didn't Adams say that he contacted murray afterwards and said he'd work for Michael during the concerts? Or am I totally mixing up things. I don't have time right now to go back and fact check, so please forgive inaccuracies. But if true perhaps the defense will try to make it something against Michael, for sure.
I sense another fishing expedition.

Murray is just gonna try and twist the fact that adams gave it to him at all imo.theres nothing else he can do.and the fact adams is a pros witness

Yes i think so. It was mentioned at the hearing not long back when it was said about him being a hostile defence witness.same as when klien was mentioned as the same

The point is Dr Adams gave Michael propofol under controlled conditions, the way it is meant to be given. Michael survived when Adams gave it - he died when Murray did. Guilty as charged!

And adams gave it for dental procedures.not to help someone sleep in a house. Murray has no witnesses so its just another example of how deperate they are

Exactly.. 4 times in one year for dental procedures.. Whereas Murray did it for non-medical use daily for 6 weeks and wasn't even watching his patient.

Exactly... He has no ethical doctor who will say what he did was sane and safe.. There is no self-respecting doctor in the world who would admit to giving their patient anesthesia as a sleep aid

there is NO proof other than Murray's word that he gave Michael propofol daily for six weeks. Murray's word means NOTHING to me. In all honesty do YOU think that Murray was knowledgeable enough to give Michael propofol for 6 weeks??? I sure the heck dont..otherwise Michael would of been dead long before the 25th of June thats for damn sure.

i still have weird feelings hearing anestesia on dental procedures never heared that ever before we only get an injection with some meds
but thats oftopic

i think no mather who they bring in, he is stil quilty

There are quite a few people who prefer to be 'out' for dental procedures. Depends on what you are having done too.
