Yeah it's all about the most important thing: Michael's talent

I mean choreography, fireworks and illusions were very much part of Michael Jackson/The Jacksons concerts, but in the end people wanted his energy and magic imo.
The first leg of the Bad Tour wasn't that filled with hits either, I think even without him singing people would have been blown away

Actually I am kinda sad that some of the older songs weren't performed later on...I get it, of course, but I really love them. "Shake your Body", for example. It's just breathtaking.
 
I miss threads like this.

I love DSTYGE but I think Mike wanted to move away from that disco sound and I think it was difficult to song live.

I wish Mike would have cut Shake Your body in half and performed DSTYGE on the 87 leg

"
I keep telling people that AI aren't reliable... but many still think they're a timesaver anyway... I guess they may be useful if you want to write about alternative realities... but other than that...
