I think it would be a good idea to release "Elizabeth, I Love You" and then donate the profits to charity. Liz's AIDS foundation would be a good choice. Michael's performance of the song was lip-synced so I'm sure there is a studio recording of the song somewhere.
 
Has to happen. I am so sad but happy Michael has his friend back now :(

Even worse it's on my birthday.Michael is not alone now;I'm happy they will spend eternity together looking over us all
 
It feels like it would be the right time to release this beautiful song. I'm sure both Michael and Elizabeth would love the proceeds to go to a charity. Can someone contact the Estate to ask if they can?
 

I had been praying for Ms. Taylor all these days(she's has always been in my prayers anyway) and last week I kept awake all night watching Michael's beautiful, heartfelt birthday gift "Elizabeth I love you" on utube over and over again...I was hoping that somehow this beautiful message could be officially had on a CD/VCD...But I hope it won't look like expoliting her passing away, I mean we know how we have been hurt by a lot of things that happened (and continue to happen) in the name of MJ tributes, they seem insensitive at times...so maybe not immediately, but in the near future, if it is released as charity single, it will be gift to us all.

Just want to give everyone here a big hug (())...we lost a precious friend, a gifted artist and a truly beautiful human being today...but I'll smile through my tears and say once again, 'We love you forever Ms.Taylor', may you have a safe, joyous, peaceful transition to the other world:angel:

Everyone with Twitter, this idea needs to be shared to as many people as possible. The media loves to pick up on things that spread on social network sites, and if it catches enough momentum, maybe this could actually happen.
 
This needs to be done as soon as possible - with proceeds going to Elizabeth's AIDS charity.

Gaz, can you contact the Estate about this?
 
I've submitted the idea to the MJ Online Team, who will send it to the Estate. I basically explained what's been said on here about it being a charity single, and the person I was talking to said that they'd pass it along, so hopefully it'll be seriously considered!
 
So what would people want in this single? I'd want an archived brief message from Michael speaking about Elizabeth, followed by a studio version if one exists or a tweaked/reworked version, followed by the live performance.
