Eurovision Song Contest 2016

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be held at the Globe Arena in Stockholm. The Semi-Finals will be held on 10th and 12th May, the Grand Final will take place on Saturday 14th May. All shows will be broadcast at 21:00 CEST.
34 European countries + Australia and Israel are competing this year. But only 20 of them will go to the big final, plus five of them which directly accesses to it, called the big five.Those are Uk-Germany-France-Italy and Spain.

For many years I have been following the Eurovision song contest. I can’t say that I’m a big fan but I like to watch the shows, though rarely my favorites have won .We’ll see what happen this year.

Does anyone like the song "Ghost" by Jamie-Lee Kriewitz? She's in the race for Germany and won The Voice of Germany last year.

Kind of cheesy show and with usually not so great music, but at the same time it's fun with all the nations, the competition and the event, so I am going to watch.

For the first time in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest, a non-contestant Global Superstar, Justin Timberlake, will enter the Eurovision stage in Stockholm. He will perform the #1 single, CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!

I watched that when I lived in another country many years ago, it was always so that the worst won, so it became like a comedy show. I don't know how it is now, will they show it live in Internet as well? The winners of the last year contest are going to perform in my city this june, I am not going due to the price of the tickets.

Blue eyes, from videos you posted I liked Netherlands, funky, good rhythm, easy to listen, brings good mood and wish to dance a bit to a song.

Well, I looked those I mentioned through again and I would say too sweet is also not very good, copying someone meaning clothes, music style, hits and so on is also not too good for me, after all my consideration I would vote for Sweden as I can listen to it more than 2 times:

About Ukraine, I could listen to it only when I didn't look at her and at the video, in other case not. Is not bad, but politics and too much howling is not to my taste. Though the song differs from others, so it might win. It is written that she sings that in turkish together with english.

Hello everyone ,sadly politics and neighborhood have a lot of weight on Eurovision,as we can see it every year. Ukraine song is a good song and to sad.

Those are the ones I'd like to see in the top 10 no particular order.
France,Croatia,Malta,Israel (for political and social issues, good message) Belgium, the entry of this song It reminds me to an 80's song .Netherland and of course Spain, natural thing if you're Spanish

I read that Justin Timberlake said to Frans that he loved Frans song.
Maybe he just was polite.
I haven´t listened to the songs except for Sweden´s but it feels like the swedish competition was a long time ago and I don´t remember it.
I´ll watch it tonight on internet, my tv has it´s own ways.

That "howling" gives me chills every time. Most of the other songs evoke no emotion, just typical euro-songs. xD
