Ex step-son of MJ, son of Lisa Marie Presley-Benjamin Keough died at the age of 27[*]

I know what bugs me most of all is the celebrities (not because of who they are but because of the huge platforms they have) betray him, like Oprah, like Ellen, like Beyonce who hasnt said a thing since LN, like Lady Gaga (who buys Mjs stuff but she hasnt said a word either), like Tatum O'neill, like John Legend.. all these people combined.. silence is as bad a condemning someone to me, only a few like Kanye have come forward.. and thats so sad.. so im only hoping they'll speak up in the near future..

I know this isn't the topic really to be talking about Michael, but I agree with this wholeheartedly. What it should tell you is these people care nothing but for themselves. And are happy to appear strong willed and outspoken when it fits with what's fashionable. Complete frauds.

Thank God for Madonna.

Although I should advise you that John Legend has been publicly outspoken against MJ. Way to throw a brother under the bus.

I think Beyoncé did say something. i know lady gaga did. and it was positive. a lot people has spoke out about Michael. while some of them found him guilty. others didn't.

you are kind of new to the site. my advice for you is to look that all the post from last year about Michael. while there's negatively there also positives. (y)

I'm new to the site but have been a fan for a long time :) I'm just not big on social media... I do it in moderation and Im guessing thats not enough to find out about all the details I need  Im happy to hear Beyoncé & Lady Gaga said something... Im surprised I tried searching and even asked on instagram and a bunch of fellow MJ fans were saying they havent said one thing and they should return all their MJ stuff.. but thanks for the positive news.

Oh I know about John Legend, I never liked the guy anyway... he's not creative, he's a copy cat in my eyes... I don't even know one of his songs... but I guess he just goes with whatever is trending... shame of a man, maybe he dreams of becoming as big as MJ was... he will never be even close to that level of legendary...
Im glad Madonna is there too.. and also Kanye, surprisingly, the Kardashian clan has a lot of influence in whats trending.. so hopefully they'll be on board with Kanye and keep Michael's name clean to the masses...

the only song i like from john legend was green light back in mid 2000's other then that i never really knew this guy. i use to like kanye until he became a trump supporter. other then that i'm glad he supports MJ.

I don't like Madonna neither did Michael but i'm glad she one of the people who been defending him. so shoutout to her. (y)

It's funny how people claim to be MJ fans tend to get information wrong. it's okay to forget or misinform sometimes because we all human but you get what i mean. and you're welcome. :)

I saw John Legend's partner trending today...it really is funny how everyone who went after Michael has undergone a major crisis publicly in the period since.

I'm disappointed in Zendaya. I know she's on the verge of becoming a huge actor and what not but watch her track record. She has on multiple occasions celebrated MJ, citing him as her greatest influence, worn clothes inspired by him, talking about him as a humanitarian, bringing him up in interviews etc. She has throughout the years prasied him and said nothing but positive heartfelt things. I really thought she would, in some way, stand with him or at the very least voice skepticism about LN but so far she hasn't said a thing.

Sorry to derail the thread.

I perfectly understand people not going their opinion on MJ post LN. I remember I have felt shame or some nervousness in the past when people asked me who my idol was. This already goes back to the 90s for me. I'm still reluctant to be outspoken on who my fave artist is and I'm a grown man. If you say you are an MJ fan to a stranger what you get is either a weird look or a barrage or bad jokes that you heard a million times before.

You can call me weak for it I don't care I just don't need all the bullshit that comes with it. You are bound to get some shit thrown at you if you speak out as an MJ fan.

But they had no problem doing it in 2009 or 2010 or 2011...or even 2018.

I guess LN was the drop that makes the bucket overflow. You can only have this much before you start thinking "where there is smoke there is fire". Not everyone feels like investigating all the claims against MJ, it's not their job either, it's the media's job to paint the picture the way it is.

I call it a miracle that Michael still has support and that he still gets airplay. Everybody else would have bitten the dust after 3 separate pedophile claims. I find it not strange at all that with each new claim former supporters will change their minds.

But square one is out there now, it can't get erased anymore so the truth is out there it's just a matter of spreading it but this again is the job of the media unfortunately.

What they did to Michael wasn't right.

These people supported him loudly and publicly, consistently for years. As artists and black entertainers, they owe a debt to him.

They are happy to appear as the voice of the voiceless when it's cool and fashionable. They present themselves as forthright and strong minded people. All of sudden they are silent because they're scared it'll affect their product. Some of them. Others haven't been scared to speak...respect to them.

Exactly. For everything MJ has done for the world, we all owe him loyalty and it is our duty to do the research.

I didn’t even care much about MJ before 2019, and I felt it was my duty to look into this. It should be a duty for all the people he has inspired to stand up for him now.

But they are not 100% certain he is innocent thus silence is the best thing for them, it is still keeping the middle ground. You might not care much for your image as your career doesn't depend on it but for an artist it is tricky. They all have multimillion dollar contracts running with various companies that can be cancelled with a snap.
If I had a brother who got accused of child rape I wouldn't automatically support him in front of everyone until I'm sure he is innocent.

If it was that easy just to speak up then why don't the thousands of kids that love Michael and have spend time at Neverland don't speak up massively that they were never harmed? They don't have much to loose. It would do a lot of good for Michael's image but they keep silent as well.

Like I said I understand it perfectly, it is natural to be scared of your own image. Besides that perhaps Beyonce and co haven't been asked about LN by an interviewer or by fans so why speak about it? It is after all none of their business it is not like they were huge friends like Stevie Wonder or Diana Ross were.

Can we please keep this thread on topic....which is Ben Keogh (and his relationship with Michael).

Not anymore. The video has been pulled due to a copyright claim by the agency. It wasn’t on their official channel to begin with.

THANK YOU!! I was wondering what the hell the rest of this discussion had to do with Michael and Ben.

Exactly! There is enough topic of this BS LN, let's keep this sad out of it, Ben and the rest of Presley family need respect and not dragging them now in LN and let's keep this topic clean of it.

The step son of MJ, a boy that MJ loved and treated like his own is gone. The love of MJ's life Lisa is hurt and its great loss for Presley family.
