No, they eventually had him declared dead. I think that was after 7 years, that's when you're allowed to do it. I think his family just needed closure. His sister is involved in some choir that's made up of people who have had a family member go missing.

my fave out of those was Nicholas but because of the tragic ending i didn't really follow hugely , they broke in mid 90 i think - 95 ish
its so sad! they could have been jewels for Britain - the lyrics . <3
