I first became a fan in 2007. I remember when "Hold My Hand" leaked in July 2008. Maybe the most memorable leak ever. It was good to hear that MJ could still sing well, but there wasn't much of him on the song.

I didn't care much for "A Place with No Name" or "Another Day" when they first leaked, but that's because they were only snippets. It was nice hearing the full version of "A Place with No Name" in 2013. I hope the original version of "Another Day" gets leaked in full someday.

It was nice hearing the full version of "Blue Gangsta" in 2010. I also recall hearing the unauthorized remix titled "No Friend of Mine" back in 2008.

I remember when "Slave to the Rhythm" and "Do You Know Where Your Children Are" leaked in 2010. I was impressed with how modern the former sounded, but it was obviously a remix made years later. Tricky Stewart produced it, right? It sounded generic. I prefer the 2010 mix of "Do You Know Where Your Children Are" over Timbaland's 2014 remix, but I don't care for the song in general. I heard "Xscape" around 2010, too; didn't care too much for that one at the time, but it definitely should have been on Invincible. Hopefully, the original version will come out in high quality someday (honestly, I wish it was put on the Ultimate Collection).

I remember liking "Serious Effect" when I first listened to it in 2008, but I don't care for any of the songs MJ worked on with Bryan Loren. Nor do I care much for the Thriller outtakes, as much as I liked "Hot Street" when I first heard it.

"I Am a Loser" and "Days in Gloucestershire" are my favorite leaked songs, especially the latter; I remember how excited I was to hear them in 2014. it's really fascinating to hear what music MJ was making after Invincible. Shame so few songs have complete vocals, though. I wish I could be excited to hear the full versions of "Water" and "Adore You", but they're just "mumbling + chorus" demos.

Finally hearing "Can't Get Your Weight Off Me" in 2023 (or was it 2024?) after so many snippets over the years was fun, but the song itself is nothing special. "Chicago 1945" was cool; I wanted to hear that one for years and it definitely sounds like one of the better unreleased songs. I can see why it was never released on any of the studio albums; song wouldn't have really fit on any of them. I guess it should have been on the Ultimate Collection.

It was also quite cool to hear the original 1999 version of "Hollywood Tonight" back in 2014. I think it's interesting how technically a snippet of the song first leaked back in 2002, but nobody knew what to call it. I much prefer it to the 2010 mix.

Really hope we hear the will.i.am tracks someday. And "Ekam Satyam (The One Truth)"; it was supposedly gonna be a single in 1999, so I'm curious what it sounds like.

I remember being so happy when Gloucestershire finally leaked. I was having a rough day and suddenly it changed everything. The next time I felt like that it was when Chicago 1945 first snippet leaked. I was in shock that I was listening to the legendary track, even for a couple of seconds. And the next day boom, full song plus an unknown track. Incredible day. Then the Sandberg leaks, a cherry on top.

Huh, I thought "Chicago 1945" was part of the Sundberg leaks.

my favorite leaks:

Xscape (this leak was insaaaaane!!! what a different sound and the leak really put the mj world upside down for weeks)
We`ve had enough
All in your name
People of the world (omg one of my top mj songs even though demo only)

those are my top leaks since 2002.

now i hope we will one day hear the full mj demo of Childrens holidays. this must be a beautiful song and i hope michael produced a demo with his vocals, just like he did with people of the world!!!

I don't think that one leaked before it was officially released on the Ultimate Collection in 2004.
Tracks from a promotional cd (Highlights from TUC) have leaked weeks prior (iirc September 2004) to its actual release in November.

"Do You Know Where Your Children Are" from 2010 is still my favorite leak....great version, and 2014
versions pales in comparison.
Shame about the sound that could have been a lot better.
Blue Gangsta leaked around the same time and that has amazing sound quality.
People Of The World was also a amazing leak.

Brad Buxer confirmed at a seminar that these two songs were never further developed by MJ 😕

i mean, we have a demo of people of the world which is amazing. if childrens holiday is similar demo it would be more than enough. I believe that those songs were never finished by MJ but the demo exists for POTW so why not for CH??

Hollywood Tonight 1999
i rarely listen to these leaks (even though i am interested in them lol) but that is one of the only ones i often willingly go back to
i love the more minimalistic approach to it compared to its later versions, and it feels a bit more haunting as well
very awesome stuff🗣️🗣️

but i also love State of Shock with Freddie simply because i get to hear two of my favorite artists on one song without it sounding like it did on uh...TMBMTLTT 2014

Chicago 1945 is another favorite but i wish the mixing was a little better

Yes, it does exist!

Throwing Your Life Away

It used to be my most sought after unreleased track back when we only had snippets of that song, I found out about the snippet in 2019 but I'd still play it on repeat every so often afterwards.

Then I remember sometime in June 2020, pretty early on in the pandemic, everyone was locked in their home. It was late at night and I was playing Team Fortress 2 in a friendly server, and as I was about to turn off my computer and head to bed I decided to take a quick look at Twitter and then I see a post saying that TYLA had been leaked and I couldn't believe my eyes, listening to that song in it's entirety felt otherwordly. I haven't been impressed by an unreleased song that way in ages.

I texted a few of my friends about it even though they don't listen to MJ but I didn't care, I just needed a place to let out my excitement lol. Nowadays I don't think the song is that good anymore, I've listened to it so much that I stripped it out of all it's emotions lmao

"Chicago 1945" also gets a honorable mention even though I don't think highly of the song itself, but finally hearing that song after being hyped up for so long felt surreal. Plus the addition of a track that was completely unknown which has already been mentioned here. It was a total surprise but at the same time not really since hours before there were snippets being leaked left and right so I knew it was a matter of time until it got out lol

"Adore You" and "Water" were pretty good too, even though they were just snippets. It was really nice to finally catch a glimpse of the final era of Michael's music. I still go back to those snippets from time to time, I hope we get to hear them in their entirety one day.
