The former manager of Michael Jackson, Frank Dileo is the latest to speak out and offer his opinion on the new upcoming album, Michael. There has been controversy surrounding the upcoming release as well as the first single that has been released entitled, "Breaking News." Dileo, like producer Teddy Riley believes the vocals on the album to be those of Michael Jackson.

As the NY Times reports, Frank Dileo said of the new album in a statement to the Associated Press: "While listening to the tracks, especially the ones not heard by the general public, you can hear that he was having a great time!” He also said that he was in touch with Michael Jackson during the recording process of some of the songs saying: of Jackson "he was excited and enthused by the music and the experience."

As has been reported in various reports, some members of the Jackson family are convinced that the vocals on "Breaking News" are not those of the King of Pop. A representative from Sony also issued a statement this week, saying that after their research, and voice authentification analysis, they believe the vocals to be those of Michael Jackson.

What do you think about "Breaking News"?

More Supporters Say Michael Jackson Is Singing on Michael Jackson Song
By DAVE ITZKOFF

For those of you keeping score at home, the tally of people who say that a recently released single attributed to Michael Jackson does indeed contain vocals by the King of Pop has gone up by two.

The single, called “Breaking News” and planned for inclusion on Jackson’s posthumous album “Michael,” has become the latest point of contention in his career, stirring several members of Jackson’s family to say they do not believe that he is singing on that track.

Jackie Jackson, one of Michael’s brothers and a member of the Jackson 5, wrote on his Twitter account that he and John McClain, a co-executor of Michael’s estate, “have insisted for many weeks to have certain tracks removed from Michael’s new album.” He continued, “Unfortunately, our concerns were not taken seriously.”

But in a statement to The Associated Press, Teddy Riley, a producer who worked with Michael Jackson on his albums “Dangerous,” “HIStory” and “Invincible,” wrote that he had “no doubts that these are Michael’s vocals.”

Mr. Riley wrote: “When I heard these songs, my heart cried hearing Michael again in good spirits. The vocals sounded very polished, very on key and processed.”

Frank Dileo, a former manager of Jackson’s, said in a separate statement to The A.P. that he had been in contact with the singer during the recording sessions that yielded the song and that “he was excited and enthused by the music and the experience.”

“While listening to the tracks,” Mr. Dileo wrote, “especially the ones not heard by the general public, you can hear that he was having a great time!”

This is what Teddy Riley was saying in that radio show that was on Youtube. The songs targeted are the ones he produced. McClain it's clear didn't want Riley's songs on the album. Sony decided otherwise.

According to Teddy Riley, McClain producers lost out in that Riley's songs were choen over those mixed by McClain's producers.

That's the basis of all this fight. The problem is you now have one executor in conflict with the record label supposed to release the music. This is why 3 executors were needed. Now who is Branca going to side with? His co-executor or Sony?

This is not good and Teddy Riley was right that infighting will lead to problems. People are beginning to take sides and it will also split fans up. I say they take it to court and shut it all down once and for all, or else, let the infighting stop if it can't be proven in court.

I'm sorry to say this but they had their chance and they let u down, now we are in this state of having to fight to make sure Michael's songs and legacy are treated with respect.

What any member of Sony, the estate or the family feel or think they can hash that out with eachother. We are the ones who buy the music, our profit is the ability to hear Michael's voice singing new songs. That's what we want and it's what we'll have. We've waited for what- ten years for a full CD? I hope Sony knows there is no way we arwe gonna allow them to scrap the Cd release for litigation purposes and move it back on the calendar without us scrapping all purchases of their products and encouraging others to do the same during that process.

This should have been handled before we got involved. They could even placed a sample leak on the net for feedback if they even cared about our opinions and just viewed peoples responses but it seems they expected us in our ten year desperation for new Michael music we would cave from crumbs that they are wanting to give us.

Teddy Riley knew those vocals did not come through well whether they are Michael or not and it was his job to finalize and approve it so I don't accept his excuses.

Frank Dileo can claim to have been present during those recordings but if it's filled in with someone elses voiced thats like mixing copper for gold doesn't help it decreases the value. If it's fully Michael then they should not have altered and compressed the tracks because his voice is priceless and you can't add to perfection.

Sony needs to know that nothing will stop bus or slow us down from our bringing about our ultimatum. We demand discernably Michael tracks, to be verified by a group of fans who'll represent us before the CD release or we'll began our boycotts of everything Sony.

It would be wonderful if we knew who we could trust in the huge mess they made but we don't so we have to go in for ourselves and fight for Michael, for us and for his legacy. It never should have come to this.

We are the only ones whose only agenda is to clearly hear Michael on his CD and to protect his legacy. We're not doing anything for money, we do it for love. In the wonderful words 9of Michael Jackson "It's all for love!
