That's all he wanted, simple, normal life experiences with real people but he was denied of it most of his life. That's absolutely heartbreaking and devastating he felt like this, and understandably so - obviously not concerning T-Mez, but the whole trial was about people he had helped in the past betraying him in return. Linda Deutsch said it as it is: the trial killed him.

Same. I took a walk in the park today, to see the sunset, and I tried to imagine what life must be like when you&#8217;re not able to do that any time you want. How can people not understand why he had Neverland? And then have even that taken away from him.

Michael should of realize being a superstar isn't an easy task. I understand he wanted a normal life but he should of known that famous life is different then an normal life. I mean I know money isn't everything but he should remember that he was poor. so, if Michael wanted to choose the a normal life he shouldn't never when with his dad. but sadly it wasn't his fault. if Michael did have normal life he probably would been doing track.

at the end of the day, I really enjoyed what all he gave us. I really think we won't see anything like that again in our lifetime.

The “akte.Spezial”-team wanted to hear both sides, and Zonen was the only one on the accuser side who was willing to give an interview. R&S didn’t reply to the team’s interview request, and neither did Dan Reed, so that they had to use archive footage to represent his side. They all had the chance to speak, but refused to.

I think I will have to wait until they release it for audiences abroad. I don't have a vpn and am not going to risk free add ons to my browser to change location. + I also need at least English subtitles. I am probably the only Dutch person in the country who doesn't understand a single word of German.
I do hope Akte realizes there is international interest, but given it involves Michael Jackson I'm sure they are aware of that.

I am glad to see Michael had true friends. It makes me both happy and sad because it must have been hard for him to have genuine friendships with people. He could never tell if people would sell him out to the press to make a quick buck. Who to trust. Very few he could truly trust, clearly.

Someone mentioned earlier why this docu is named 'in search of the truth' while we already know the truth. You forget that the general audience who were brainwashed for +30 years by the media with all the crazy stories about Michael don't. They don't have a clue what is true and what isn't. I think it's a good title to draw people in especially after all the fuzz about LN. And I like it that it's a neutral documentary. (from what I hear) Gives the haters even less ammo to talk it down.

As that's the way documentaries should be done, presenting both sides (and then fact checking them, of course).

It's a good thing they tried to get R&S and Reed as well, their refusal speaks a lot, especially after participating in a heavy promotional campaign including Oprah and Billboard Boyband Photoshoots. I think Reed realised he won't be given a free pass in Europe like he had in the US (especially after the French interview fiasco which is still pure joy to watch).

To show up his blantent lieing re the door codes and how even to this day he keeps pushing his agenda cause hes to big headed to realise he was wrong. Make up you own mind as to why he keeps throwning stones... yeah and to show both sides?? its a shame they dont talk more.just shows up more of their lies
