That was a nice read and I am glad the people had a wonderful time. It seems that Jackie was the main lead singer. I thought it was Jermaine.

I was at the Hardwick Live performance a few days later. A very positive review of that one here: http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/ne...gettable_performance_in_Sedgefield/?ref=var_0

As for the lead vocals, I think Jermaine was still the most prominent, but they seem to be fairly well shared out these days between Jermaine, Jackie and Marlon. I don't remember much singing from Tito this time, at least compared to the Unity Tour show I saw in Manchester. These aren't the 2300 Jackson Street days where Jermaine was trying to dominate the band - things seem more democratic between the brothers these days.

It good that the brothers are doing good i still hope to see them one day in person it is on my bucket list

And they have recently played in Hong Kong. There is a very nice video from a Charity event here:

Fifty years after their debut, The Jacksons have played Hong Kong for the first time.
The brothers say they're looking at opportunities in China, and Jermaine has even launched a music talent search there.
Bloomberg's China correspondent Stephen Engle caught up with The Jacksons at a children's home in Hong Kong.

(Jermaine is also speaking at a conference in Berlin in early November)

There is a report of the Jacksons Manila concert here:
(I didn't realise that they owned a resort-hotel in the US?)

The Jacksons want to invest in PH (Philippines):
By Maridol Rañoa-Bismark | Yahoo Southeast Asia Newsroom – 18 hours ago

The Jacksons’ latest Manila visit – their second after two decades – was only a few days long. But it was enough to make Jermaine, one of four siblings who performed last November 3 at Solaire Resort and Casino, think of investing in the Philippines.

Jermaine, who seals business deals in behalf of his musically-inclined family, gave his room number to the Solaire staff who went with him in the limousine that took him from the airport to the hotel. This way, the staff can coordinate with the owners of Solaire, who produced the concert, for initial talks.

Jermaine had a eureka moment when the Solaire staff briefed him about the resort-casino.

“The Jacksons own a resort-hotel in the US (where they are based). They know the business inside out. The idea is to partner with Solaire,” the reliable source, who rode the limousine together with Jermaine and the hotel staff, told Yahoo Philippines.

It was Jermaine’s first time in Manila, but not for his brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito, whose debut show in the country was way back in 1979.

The brothers’ recent concert turned out to be a dance party with the crowd getting up on its feet and grooving to the beat of The Jacksons’ Motown hits like “ABC,” “I Found That Girl,” “I’ll Be There,” “I Want You Back” and “Rockin’ Robin.”

The Solaire ballroom turned into a hub of cheering and dancing when The Jacksons performed their late brother's iconic songs “Rock with You” and “Beat It.”

The group was a virtual time machine that brought its audience back to the 70s, when Motown reigned supreme and Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye became household names.

The Jacksons were in Manila as part of an Asian tour that took them to Jakarta and Hong Kong. One of its most memorable shows around the world was the 1984 Victory Tour which drew over 2.5 million people to stadiums in the US. Its worldwide Unity Tour in 2012 celebrated The Jacksons' hits as a long-running group.

LOVED the film clip of them at the orphanage-I'm proud of them. And they look good too.

I wasn't aware that they owned any casino or hotel here-not sure if that is true.
