Hi everyone,

I was just wandering whether there are some amateur guitarists here, who would be interested in sharing/figuring out the chords/tabs of MJ songs. I sometimes have hard time figuring out the chords myself and google doesn't help much most of the time. Or - and this would be even better - could anyone recommend a site with accurate guitar chords?

I'm sorry if there already is similar thread, but I couldn't find any.
 
ultimate-guitar.com and search for Michael Jackson. You'll find loads.

Thank you for your answer, MattyJam. I know ultimate-guitar.com - yes, there are loads of them, but the chords are not always accurate, although it can be definitelly helpful, when I'm lost :) I guess I'm just too hard to please ;)
 
Alma - I'll be glad to help you - do you have any particular song in mind?

Maybe I could re-formulate my original post - this thread could be more like:
"I tried to play xxx today and I didn't know what is the first chord in the bridge..."
or
"I found good chords to xxx - sounds good on acoustic guitar, easy to play." - as there are many songs that I have never thought would be possible to play.

Maybe I should start - I had a good time today trying to play She's Out Of My Life - demo guitar version from This Is It. In the end I have to tune my guitar half a tone lower to be able to follow the recording, because I couldn't find the right chords anywhere (I didn't try very hard to find them, though ;) )
Btw. does anyone know, who plays the guitar on the demo?

... or maybe this thread is not a good idea at all :D

Perhaps you could try tracking down the sheet music books for the albums? They all have the correct chords for guitar.

As a keen guitar player myself, I don't really bother playing much Michael unfortunately. I wish there was a MJ guitar tab book. There's hardly any tablature for MJ songs other than Beat It. I'd love to learn the awesome solos to Dirty Diana, Give Into Me etc.

No, not really... but thank you... ^^ Been trying to reproduce a few sounds, but I've been having this guitar of mine for such a short while, a few weeks only, and I'm below amateurish... This takes time, but I hope I'll get more in the future somehow. Thanks, though. .. ^^

Ah, yeah, you're right, sheet music books have the correct chords. Will try to find some sheet music online :)

:( that's sad that you don't play Michael's songs, it's same with me but I'm trying to change it :) - I've tried I Can't Help It and One More Chance recently, they sound quite good (provided my singing doesn't count ;) ). I'm not so much into guitar solos (they are usually above my technique level, I haven't practise much during last few years), I'm more interested in playing the whole song on one guitar. But you're right, tabs are hard to find.

i REALLY need to find a good guitar chord of TWYMMF.. the same way how Michael Bearden in "This Is It" was playing on the keyboard when MJ was like "it needs to be simpler" and they MB said "more booty" n MJ laughed..

anyways.. that same thing.. i want to play that so bad on my guitar..

PLEASE HELP!
