My feelings is Michael was more silent in his later years after compared to his earlier time especially after the law suit. It sounds to me his dreams for this world was defeated piece by piece by the reality. Was he becoming diasppointed at this world in his last few years? Some kind of disappointing feeling like when you are young, you feel you can change anything but laterly you find you actually can change little?

After the doctor says he is "10-years-old kid" mentally, has he ever thought of going to see consolor for help on this or he really did not want to do that but just enjoyed who he is? Was him being close to "grown up" mindset latterly?

When he thought of himself, his own life, was he happy? satisfied with himself?

I love him so much, that thinking of him as very lonely man in his life or being so deeply hurt is just killing me. Needs know something positive to know he is happy in some way...

Michael, I do miss you!

Thanks for response, Indranee. I felt he was probably forced to grow up after many hits. Those horrible things were like wake up calls to gradually chope his dreams. "Disillusioned" is a very good word to discribe it.

I was also thinking people around him, whether anyone tried to help him on better handling with this world. Lisa probably is the one who ever tried. Tell him NOT to do something that he wanted but again, when all others are "YES" man, it will be very difficult. Kids just wants freedom to have his own choice though sometimes this "his choice" may not be a better one for himself.

I believe he was disillusioned in this world but I think he received a lot of peace and satisfaction from his children.

It is such a sad thing that he finally had people who he knew loved him for him and he loved them back.

He was such a strong person to have dealt with everything he did his entire life.

yw :)

we also have to remember that he was very stubborn and set in some ways. so many people (including Lisa Marie) have spoken about this trait of his... of how he would refuse to hear the word "no". Michael Jackson was a law unto himself in some things, and once he set himself to do something, no one, NO ONE, could dissuade him.

I think because he always comes across as so very gentle and sweet to us fans, we forget that side of him. he was an ambitious go-getter, but he wasn't cynical. so, yes, I believe he was disillusioned (and "helpless, hopeless" as he put it in "Speechless") by many, MANY events and people in his life.

it makes me really sad to think about him like this. but maybe that's what he came into this life to learn...

Oh Michael... I would be surprised he wasn't disappointed.
Imagine living a life where you always place other people first, always try to make this world a better place, and still you're surrounded by hate and ridicule.

Just listen to the HIStory album, the whole album is just a whole out burst of disappointment.

Michael had been so perfect and successful in his life until the first trial of child case. So in his own experience, there was nothing he can not acheive. So "NO" is not a word in his dictionary. His bad luck started from the child case 1996(?), or probably earlier than that when he was burnt his head in Pepsi adv show maybe. Since them, more and more things cruely to show him what the true word is. So I think his London show "That is it" perfectly reflect his views on this world or maybe on himself.

It is like everyone's life probably: when you were young, you are flying in the top sky, looking down with all amibitions thinking that much you can see, that much you can do and everything is changeable and beautiful (because you are far from them). Then when you growing in middle age, you are falling down in the middle of air, you are closer to what you see, you realize you can do limited stuff on them. Further when you are in 50 or 60s, your feet was on the ground, you are just besides those things, you see the real truth of everything, you started to review all your previous feelings, then you told yourself, all those are illusion!!! in the end, you were buried underneath, so "that is it".

Life, in some extent, is a sad journey unfortunately. I felt michael so close to my own life as he has expressed his life to the maximum extent to each phases though his beautiful music, his angel eyes and his crystal heart.....

I miss him so much...everyday.

I think sometimes he would be disappointed with the world, but not all the time.
Because he has his children,he likes them.

Yea, I agree. Mike knew what wanted and NOBODY could tell him otherwise.

But, he was an extremely good man with the biggest heart I have ever seen.

I believe he was very disappointed in this world, but really the US (Yea, the land he came from).

The US did Michael soooooooo dirty. The media, **** THEM!!!!!!! Real talk.

But what blew me was when I saw a post "Did Michael Let Us Down" (something like that)..

I was like WHAT. If anyone let anyone down, we let Michael down. We turned on him in the worst possible way. After he gave us so much. I mean WOW. (When I refer to us I mean the general population - Some of us actually knew what it was).

Anyway!!

Michael is a very strong man. I don't know too many men who could go through what he went through. He stood tall and kept faith in God (this is what impresses me the most about him).

An amazing person.

Unfortunatly he was to good and this evil, cruel world could not appreciate a person so full of God. They couldn't see him for who he truly was. The devil IS A LIE and he had so many blinded.

YES, he was disappointed at this world. Who can blame him.

I agree with EVERYTHING you wrote.

was he disappointed? likely yes and disillusioned by how people can worship you and then turn on you

dessapoinment, Michael was tired, his life completely changed after the LWMJ documentary, his children where his life, but life became a complete nightmare for him after all of the things that happened to him, i think he couldnt take it much longer, he was suffering, inside, he only find peace when taking those dangerous prescription drugs, anesthesia, how much can one stand... Michael had a tragic life, his only joy were his children, but inside he knew he was not being the best of himself, his spirit was no longer what it was before because he realized the truth of this world, Michael used to live in a fantasy world, it was his way to scape the reality of this cold world, but how long would the fairy tale would last, it lasted what it could, i dont like this world anymore, im living my own world too, i hate becoming like the others superficial people, i dont wanna be like them, i kill myself if i became like the others, im sorry, this is an aweful thing to talk about
