How Are You Feeling Today?

Calorie deficit starts tomorrow, yay...of course, today the owner of the horse I take care of gave me a package full of chocolate. So, this will be the last treat for the next 6-7 weeks 🫠. Pray for me πŸ˜‚.

That's what I did some minutes ago. Sad times coming πŸ˜…
Anyone interested in a "no-sugar-support-group?" lol I want to cut down on my sugar, it is so harddddddd! 😭 πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Just had to laugh because relatives posted a picture of my great grandmother (she's 99). They bought her some french fries and she looks as happy as someone had given her a gold bar πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

It's one of those days where I hate getting old ... not mentally, but physically... πŸ˜–
In many cases (depending on what the issues are) strength training can help a lot. I have seen so many videos of people in their 70s and 80s even, barely able to move and after some months of training they were walking around like they were 30 years younger. We're always told getting older means getting weaker and not being able to move but we can do many things to slow down this process significantly. Hope you feel better soon 🀞

Greetings from the 34 year old, about to go to rehab πŸ˜‚.

Thank you @someplace_else . Yes, I am thinking about doing more strength training. It just feels like my body is falling apart, which it basically DOES from a certain age onwards lol 🫠, and I have lots of problems with pain and stiffness.

I am very active in my day to day live (plus I have no car, live on third floor without a lift, etc.), but I guess it would be good to do some serious muscle strength training, too. Yes, dear year2026, you heard that lol

Don't think about it, do it 😊. Being active is great but nothing compares to strength training. It's important for bones and muscles to train with heavy weights, otherwise the body gets rid of them - and don't be afraid of the weights - women (unfortunately) gain muscle mass very slowly...and eat enough protein, like 1,5g/kg body weight is good.

If you need any tips, don't hesitate to ask. I am doing this for over 10 years now πŸ˜….
