How do you style your hair like MJ's?

I got a friend thats like my sister, she's really good at doing MJ's bad era hair style. she likes to use me as her model :lol: she uses a hair curler do it. i swear it looked like a wigg.
 
i would love to have the Bad era hair but my hair is not nearly long enough.

How about the picture of MJ on the right? Where it says community and he is all in white. I would love to have that hairstyle
 
if you wanna have some curls, you take some wax and put it into your hair :lol:
 
What is your hair texture like? That matters when using hair products for best results.

Oh the short hair pic at the top that would be easy to do with your hair. you have enough length in the front to pull down some curl..and the rest of your hair slicked back and 'groove' it a little bit with a comb perhaps -to give it that same textured look as Michael's.
wet your hair and comb it out downward. from the middle of your head comb that straight back and the front leave to curl and scrunch. some hair on the sides will be combed back and some should be left with the 'front' hair to curl and texture. after combing back the hair from the middle of your head..you may need to do a half part.. see how Michael's flips over on the side and front..?
you'll need a pomade or hair gloss product best applied when wet * combed through ..and then add a stronger product like gel or pomade when styling/textured' you can make a 'curl' with a curling iron or using hair product by scrunching or twirling it with your fingers.

at times when your hair isn't use to a new style or direction it will not stay in place at first..if you have trouble with it laying in the direction you want it to, use a hair dyer and a light spray and comb and blow dry it in the direction at the same time.

So when your hair is combed downward you come it back from the middle of your head? Sorry haha im a little confused

yes..comb it back from the middle 'center part' start from there..
while it's wet and not dripping of course...comb it downward you know it's 'natural' way..and kind of make a part at the center of your crown/head..a line across the center of your head/hair.. you may want to play around with where you want that 'center part' later, because you can then determine how much of your hair you need to lay/slick backwards you see? I say make the center part to comb/slick back because it a basic starting point.

a second 'part'
you want to have that 'part' on the side too..where a bit of curl/hair will fall longer....the other side of your hair in the front would be longer too (not the slicked back or cut depending on how short/long your hair is),but most would fall over to one side.. your hair should be cut with more hair length in the front and shorter as it goes backward..you can achieve this at first without a hair cut i think because the length i can see of your hair now..

if you eventaully get a style developed, and like it alot you can then go to a salon and have them to assist/cut it that way.


Example:
hair styles cuts that can achieve Michael's looks with a bit of Michael Jackson 'tweeking' of course..Michael's is the coolest. see how these hair styles are longer in the front and shorter in the back and tend to,or have the potential to, flip over in the front on one side..?

Curlers and gel for the sides, don't wet the hair too much though becos it will go flat...mostly depends on hair texture.

Curling mousses are really good i think. Nice hair by the way :D

My hair is really, really long so i cant really do Michael style. I dye my hair black though and jell my hair line down like his sometimes! hehe
 
My hair is not curly, but it looks a little like this, only a bit shorter:
