Dear all,

don't want to burden you with my problems. It's just that currently I am experiencing a difficult and exhausting situation in my life. Even though I already came a long way and have already achieved many things to better the situation, it is still not yet over and with unknown ending. However, I also have people who support and understand me and I am also confident that I will manage through this somehow.
What I would like to share with you is how much Michael currently helps me. I frequently listen to Keep the faith, Man in the mirror, On the line especially. They provide me with so much strength and they give me a sense of deep familiarity. I sometimes feel really exhausted and find it difficult to keep encouraging myself. When I listen to Michael, I feel connected to the strength I am familiar with in myself and with that I have always managed difficult situations in the past.

I started to love Michael as a father figure when I was 5 years old and my mom showed me the Earth Song music video. Michael has since always been a source of courage and strength to me. When I went to the dentist as a small child, my mom worked there and they always asked me "should we play Michael again?" and they put in a cassette my mom had brought there and so I heard Michael when I sat on the dentist chair. Later in my life, I consciously came to get strength from Michael, i.e. having a picture of him with me on big exams or when I was unsure about what to do after school, it helped me to hear his message of putting my heart on the line and just dare. I am now in my 30's and it is still one of the constants in my life. It has always helped me. I have never felt I made a mistake in life after I listened to (my interpretation of) Michael's advice.

Somehow it feels good to share this with you all. If anyone out there also struggles currently, I wish you strength and courage and that you never stop doing what your heart tells you.

I love you, Michael!

What a beautiful essay you wrote. At one point in my life , when I was in high school, I was dealing with school bullying , listening to MJ's music helped me the overcome the ordeal :)🫂

Hmm I feel you! I'm having a difficult time too, something like a bit of depression and overworking. Michael's music has been and is giving me comfort.
Now it turned out that I have a problem with my thyroid gland. Since I take the pills to make up for that, I have more energy and feel positive that I can work my way out of that phase.
Great that for you the songs were even helpful advice!
