If Michael was tried outside of the U.S

One thing i have often wondered about is if Michaels cases were tried outside of the U.S. I have read a lot of vitriol saying the verdict would be guilty based on differences in law on child protection, child sexual abuse etc. If Michael was tried outside the U.S the media circus probably would have been the same, which begs the question, if the trial was outside the U.S would it have been handled differently in terms of public consumption?

The Arvizos would've been laughed at in any serious court. Doesn't matter if it's in America or on Mars.
