That's because the video wasn't finishedThe video makes me very sad. He's hiding his face, it's painful to see. So I can't imagine it would have helped the song a lot. But that is my personal view.
He wasn’t hiding his face actually. They meant to do close-up shots of him, but then the Neverland raid happened and the shoot shut down. The video that released was all they were able to film. The video makes me very sad. He's hiding his face, it's painful to see. So I can't imagine it would have helped the song a lot. Yeah I couldn't stand his vibrato in his later yearsIn contrast to some of the others here, I really do like the lyrics, they're relateable. As for the song itself: I like hearing MJ on early 2000s production and his vocals near the end are great, but I still don't see the song as a 10/10 masterpiece.
Edit: What I don't like about the song are his shaky vocals throughout the song.
I think it could’ve done marginally better than it did had the allegations not taken focus, but as others said, I don’t think it would’ve been a smash success. Then again, it wasn’t really intended to be.

Any examples of the difference in vibrato?Yeah I couldn't stand his vibrato in his later years
It's strange his voice was strained, as he had 2 years off recording and more from performing. I wonder if he ever suffered from vocal nodules?MJ's voice was pretty strained at this point. Some parts of the song weren't even sung by him, but by R. Kelly.
Teaming up with R. Kelly right after the "Ignition" remix suggests MJ wanted a smash hit. Supposedly he liked the "Ignition" remix so much that he wanted a song similar to it, and this was the result. It was meant to be a comeback single as part of the plan to repair MJ's image in 2003.
It's just a love song about a second change in love..?That's actually why the song is called "One More Chance". He's asking the public for another chance after the Bashir doc.
Heavily edited (autotune, cut between rehearsals)Human nature was live
Yeah, the original clip shown by news stations shortly after his death showed he was ever so slightly off tune for the first chorus. This was nipped for the release.Heavily edited (autotune, cut between rehearsals)

He literally sings out of tune during his little speechless acapella bit in TIIi just cant imagine mike ever singing out of tune or out of key.

In the Bucharest concert for the Dangerous tour there’s a particular why oh why that is extremely out of tune.To be honest, every time Michael sings "why o why' in Human Nature, it's out of tune. He wasn't some kind of superhuman. Some things were hard for him too.
Listen to Butterflies or You are my life. Him holding notes sounds wobbly, like it's challenging for him.Any examples of the difference in vibrato?
Yup, that's the oneThere’s defo an R Kelly vocal in the song , towards the end ….one more chance in life babe
Tell her this for me always sounded like Michael.
