I am a new member and wasn't sure where to start but reading another new member's post it seems here is as good a place as any!
I am a long long long time fan of Michael - I have been right there since my older sister took me to see him with the Jackson Five in London in the 70's. I have not left his side since. I have followed the ups and downs and have never had any doubt in my mind of Michael's innocence along the way. His music has been a constant in my life through all those years and I have loved every minute of it - his music and career hold very special memories for me.
I have never joined an MJ fan forum and only joined this one after his death - friends and family are sympathetic to how upset I have been but I suppose his death made me search for somewhere to go where I felt my extreme feelings would be understood. I wonder how much membership has increased since his death?
Anyway, I am London born and bred; have kids of my own who are also huge Michael fans and we all actively promote his music to extend his fan base! We were all due to go to several of the shows - I hyped my girls up so much about how fantastic he is and they are devastated that the only thing they will ever see will be his image on countless dvd's and videos.
