I agree with you on that. He wasn't qualified to use anesthetics. But on the other hand, I think that he as a heart doctor should have been aware of the dangers associated with sedatives/anesthetics. I think there is a difference between unintentionally killing a patient by administering a medication thinking it's safe and by administering it knowing that it's dangerous (speaking about lack of rescue equipment, for example). The second situation is much worse. I think he was aware of the risks but didn't want to lose his job. He knew that what he was doing to Michael was wrong when he tried to cover up the cause of death.All. doctors. are. not. equal. Anesthesiologists and anesthetists have the knowledge and training and experience to use anesthetic agents. Cardiologists do not.
I agree. I personally thought that the defense were going to prove in court that Michael was healthy and that the drugs shouldn't have created any risks to his health. Murray was hired to look after Michael's health. He can't say that he hadn't checked Michael's condition before pumping him with drugs. Now MJ was too weak ??? I don't believe this, but OK, let's say he was. How does that help Murray ?? It doesn't , it just makes it worse for him.
Yeah, that's true. The sad thing is, the prosecution doesn't even have to show that the defense allegations are not true. They just need to use them against Murray.

Yeah, that's true.
Murray's team can't change the fact that the drugs were given. So I guess they would try to argue that it wasn't as dangerous.I don't see how Murray can justify as a medical doctor giving a healthy man loads of sedatives and anesthesia as a treatment for dehydration and insomnia. If anything MJ was healthy and Murray made him sick by giving him unnecessary medications. Why give a healthy man medications when they are not needed?
This is a question that the prosecution should pose to the jury. Murray said himself that MJ was healthy so why did he load his healthy patient up with sedatives and anesthesia?
