Invincible 25th Anniversary aka The Invincible Thread

It would have been very impressive if TYLA had been re-recorded for Invincible as a proper rock song with Slash.
Can you please rename this thread to Invincible Thread? I think it would be convenient if we discussed everything related to this album here, and not just its 25th anniversary

We discuss everything related to Invincible here anyway. After the 25th anniversary, I would rename the thread. Otherwise, there won't be a central place to discuss this anniversary.

do you think bad era michael and invincible era michael would get along
By the way, I honestly think there’s a common thread between the Bad and Invincible albums, specifically, the fact that they are both "pure" Michael Jackson albums through and through.

Let me explain. Off The Wall was the starting point, Michael’s first solo project. Thriller was already a major step toward greatness, but Michael still felt a bit constrained. Bad, however, was the finale of that trilogy, where Michael finally entered his PRIME and did everything exactly how he wanted.

Then a "soft reboot" happened. Dangerous was like the first chapter of a new story without Quincy Jones. Then came the sequel, HIStory, which, much like Thriller, was a massive move toward greatness. And finally, we got the grand threequel - Invincible. That's where Michael basically said, 'You don’t like Privacy? Whatever, I love that song. You don’t like You Are My Life? I couldn’t care less, I’m making it a single. This is my album, and I’m doing things my way. Mottola, you don’t want to promote my record? Fine, whatever - I’ll just go perform "Dangerous" in 2002 instead'

In short, you can find a ton of parallels between Bad and Invincible. They’re my two favorite albums.
