Michael (2026) - Leaks, spoilers and rumours thread.

This is in a spoiler tag, so please don't read if you don't want any spoilers. I haven't seen the film myself, this is a message that was forwarded on to me.
Thanks @AlwaysThere my friend

I really enjoyed it! Colin Domingo is unsettling and frightening as Joe, I feared him watching the film, a true stand out. Jaafar is superb as Michael, at times it felt like he was back.
The start was engaging (little bit surprising) the time jump from the Victory Tour to Bad live Wembley was a tad jarring (hope they don't jump over the Bad era in part 2, Story Continues)
Shame they didn't use Victory Tour version of Human Nature, I think it was Wembley 88 (not sure)
No unreleased songs, but a nice choice for credit song. I can't wait to watch it again

I heard a rumour Antoine Fuqua's daughter plays Ola Ray but I'm not sure I missed it in the credits
That’s not what I’ve been told by someone whos seen it

One of the guys in my group chat told Graham King “we need a part 2” and he answered: “It’s up to you guys”, which means if it does well enough it will definitely come. All the signs point to a part 2, even the CEO said there will be a part 2.
I think part 2 will %100 happen - either it'll hit theaters or if "part 1" doesn't do well it'll get released directly on streaming/home media.

It's ridiculous that a sequel was a 'maybe' in the first place..? A sequel should already have been finished, filled with a ton of facts and including everything about the allegations, NDA's or not. And the trailer for it should have been in the end credits of the first 'crowdpleasing' movie

IMHO(!)

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, I hope you're right. Like I said in the post I haven't seen the film, I'm only sharing the message I was sent.

@michaeljackson.nl Thank you sharing what you could, I'm glad you enjoyed it by the way, was the transition from Juliano to Jaafar done well?

I wonder why they chose not to use Victory Tour audio of Human Nature, or even use Yokohama (as I think that's Michael's best performance and similar 84) they had Yokohama multitracks didn't they?

The moment it switched from Juliano to Jaafar, the whole room went crazy. It was a nice transition.

About your spoiler thing:

I think they did that because in particular the ‘Human Nature’ performance you had the whole crowd singing it, and imo bad tour just sounds better, so I think that’s why they chose it.

Thank you for your reply. Excited to see it now

yes just hearing the music and some of the very unknown songs blasting through the speakers was an insane feeling. The transition wasn’t anything unexpected tho but still cool.

This is a movie you want to watch in a full cinema. We got to see it in dolby, sound and visually it was crazy

Can anyone who's seen the movie help me with something?
Do you happen to know if "Shake Your Body" is performed on the Victory Tour?

Me dijeron que no. Tampoco existe el hotel Heartbreak.
I wonder which performance they'll use the Billie Jean and Shake Your Body outfits for, or if it'll probably be cut—a shame if it doesn't appear. Besides, it was the outfit I put together for the premiere, haha.

Doesn’t that make it sound strange due to the English accent of the crowd when they are singing it, as it seems to be from Wembley according to the credits?
