"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Michael Jackson is not a Marvel flick to post up. They're setting it aside for the right reason, quit with that pessimistic crap and just get some patience.
THANK YOU

Some of these people would rather believe Twitter over what Lionsgate is declaring to its own investors!!!

In the history of troubled Hollywood film productions, I don't think 'Michael' makes the list. 'The Wizard of Oz' - 5 different directors, at least 5 versions of the script, major cast changes along the way. Let's not even get into the Judy Garland part of the story. It's the stuff of nightmares. 'Cleopatra' - similar story. 2 directors, multiple script changes and cast changes, a massive overrun on the budget. 'Back To The Future' got off to a bad start with the 'wrong' person in the lead role. 'Apocalypse Now' was so bad they made a documentary about how troubled the filming/production was, lol.

and just get some patience.
I watched John Campea's livestream and then went and made a nice cup of tea! I think that counts! :D

Look, this IG account is in portuguese, but basically it is comparing to the Bohemian Rhapsody marketing. BR got a first poster and teaser on May 15th and was released on November 2nd.

By that login, we would get a first poster/trailer in the end of April, considering that Michael movie comes out in October 2nd.

John Branca said "No. Release the trailer the day before the film releases. That'll get the fans more hype...Trust me, this is what Michael would've wanted. Nobody knows him better than i did"
Well, that quote from John Branca just made me spit out my coffee ☕️ No one knew Michael better than him??? I want to be that delusional.

Dude couldn't even tell half the Michael album was fake 🤣 I'll give him his props for turning the estate around financially but as far as doing a good job for Michael's fans (which if he knew Michael so well, he would know that would have been his top concern) this estate sucks 😂

I personally think if the movie is delayed we won't know the reason as to why until after.

The Chandler story seems weird, hypothetically if it were true, the whole production team and Lionsgate when informed about this immediately started rewriting and re did everything, that would mean the October push was true, if there is another delay it wouldn't make sense since they already were solving it and now another thing has happened and they need to delay??? or they underestimated the time they needed to reshoot/re-do everything.
There are so many different reasons as to why it has been delayed that I am not surprised if it turns out to be a whole different reason we don't know about
With all the people coping and being overly optimistic, and also the pessimists who are negative, I vow we all just wait for Lionsgate to tell us what the **** is going on

I’m pretty certain these reshoot rumours of the 3rd act surrounding the allegations are absolutely true.

I honestly can’t believe the estate and lionsgate have messed up so much over this stuff. It’s amateur hour.
They are bullshit because the estate already did years of research before writing the script, not to mention Lionsgate repeatedly stated they were not true. We have no source claiming it will delay out of October besides Journalist speculation.

So now after the delays it’s a two part film.

What next LOL

“I’m pretty sure a random Twitter dork is accurate and lionsgate is lying to its investors”

The original delay happened when Lionsgate found out about the Cascio settlement. This is also what triggered the reshoots.

Is this actually true? I haven't been keeping up with that.
According to The MJ Cast Charlie Thomson. He didn't provide any sources. But he claims that he has some very reliable sources close to the production. He couldn't name his source. He said that them not knowing about the settlement clause is bullshit and that the only reason for the reshoots is Cascio extortion case against the Estate that was kept secret from Lionsgate. According to him, that pissed off Lionsgate and they decided to reshoot the complete 3rd act and possibly remove everything regarding the allegations and end the movie in 1992 instead of 1993.
