Latest on MJJC

"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

I pray this film will be good , for Michael’s sake!! I want him to have a successful film so much.

For us fans , I sadly don’t think there will be anything bigger than this to come , so let’s make the most of it and enjoy this era. It could really spawn a whole new generation of MJ fans.

Ps - he’s currently 22 in the world for most Spotify streams, by the time this film comes out I feel he will be top 10.

I don't know what to expect of this movie but I'm pretty excited to see Jaafar's performance as his uncle. It's kind of minor but I'm curious to hear how his voice sounds like, people who watched the teaser at Cinemacon last year said he sounds scarily identical to Michael so I'm looking forward to finally hearing his voice impression.

Surreal that the teaser is less than 3 hours away after all this time lol

i hope that by taking advange of the reshootings, lionsgate relegated his character to a very marginal role

Hmm... I think it is likely the first teaser will not even include his voice... Michael's music yes, his dance moves yes, Jafaar talking... probably in the trailer, not in the teaser.
 
These days it seems teaser trailers are not that far off the actual trailer. Some clocking in at a few mins long. - I think the teaser will be at least a minute.

I can’t wait to watch all the Michael trailer reactions on YouTube!

I literally posted the same thing last night - that MITM clip is so emotional and sounds like it could be used for emotive scenes throughout the film , whoever is working on the music I do hope we get stuff exactly like this.

It could hit hard during certain scenes.
 
Imagine the trailer opens with an acapella (with some echo effects) of Boy No or another unreleased song to take us into the trailer.

That poster looks like a recreation of number ones when they had all the different silhouettes from the different eras. Why isn't the post Quincy eras represented is beyond me.
