"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

I do understand why fans are picking up on the nose - I personally feel it’s too big , too exaggerated. Michael’s real nose was never as big or wide as that . I guess though that will be one of the moments in the movie . His nose and reasons for surgery etc.

Not sure if anyone here has seen Bradley Cooper’s film Maestro about Leonard Bernstein? The prosthetic nose they gave him was ridiculous and quite comical to be honest.

Am I the only one that doesn’t think the Branca shot is that gratuitous? To me, it seems like them reminding people that Miles Teller, arguably one of the biggest names attached, is in the movie. Branca absolutely has an ego but I don’t think it goes as deep as many insist it does, especially since he shows up for a whole .75 seconds lmao
He stole the show and it drove me into a rage. Literally my mood was so foul yesterday because of that one bit of Branca. I got Branca’d without my consent!

Just the fact that one of the three consolidated stars they have for this movie was cast as him is gratuitous by nature.

This is a huge stretch in my opinion. Who else could Teller feasibly have played? He’d be an awful Frank Dileo, and he doesn’t really fit anyone else in MJ’s life I can think of off the top of my head.

I finally realized what was so wrong with that Beat It still that looks so uncanny: Michael's nose is way smaller than how it actually was around that time, but what's even more weird is in other Thriller era stills of the same trailer, the nose looks instead as it actually should be. i hope they fix that, or that that Beat It still released by Variety is just a old version

How cool did that victory tour footage look , that was prob my favourite part in the teaser.

Looked electric, I wonder if that part where the pyro goes off was during Heartbreak Hotel? Seems pretty authentic.

Wasn’t so keen on the CGI dodger stadium exterior but that’s a minor grip.

Can you image these stage performances cranked up to 100 in the cinema, especially IMAX. It will be incredible

I guess the idea in the movie will be to show MJ with such a big nose that when he does have plastic surgery, people in the audience won't feel put off by it because they'll think, "oh I understand why he would do it, he had such a big nose".
Well I hope that's not the direction they're going for, because that would be a big fat lie. Michael had a beautiful nose, it was neither too big nor too small, it was just the right size and it fit his face perfectly. The nose only looks too big on Jaafar because his face is shaped differently and his eyes are set closer together, but on Michael's face it didn't look too big, it looked just right. Michael didn't have surgery because he needed it, he had surgery because his father destroyed his self-esteem to the point that Michael couldn't see how beautiful he was. Michael even hated his smile for God's sake, his beautiful smile, the first thing you see when you search "most beautiful smile in the world" on Google.

Beautiful nose:

Michael didn't need surgery, he had trauma. That's what I hope the biopic will show to the world.

FFS... Can we stop discussing the "nose" now? This is the most exciting time to be an MJ fan in 15 years, maybe the last major MJ project ever.

Raise the roof. 2026 is when the world puts Michael back to where he should have always been... Right at the top!
