I don't think he does. Trump isn't very perceptive, in fact he's quite dumb. The last verified date was in 1994 as far as I'm aware. Melania has that claim you mentioned, which I just found a source on (her 2016 DuJour interview), but there's nothing to corroborate the meeting happening at all. It seems unlikely given post-2005 Michael was not in the States very much, let alone New York.
