Michael Jackson Fans: Oxman Released Trust Documents

Michael Jackson’s ardent fans are in an uproar. They’ve put up an internet petition asking Thomas Mesereau, Jackson’s criminal attorney from 2005, to step in and help them.

The fans are speculating additionally that Jackson family leech, Brian Oxman, an attorney on probation who speaks 24/7 on the subject of Jackson, was the source for the release of private trust documents to a British tabloid last week.

Oxman is now reduced to giving interviews to obscure radio and TV shows. On this link, you can hear him complaining about the lack of released documents in the Jackson case. The interview aired a day before the trust papers suspiciously appeared in the British press.. The papers specified the trusts set up by Michael in 2002 along with his already published will. Each of his children are to receive $33 million apiece. Some of his nephews will get bequests as well. But by and large the revealed papers showed nothing new, just that Michael Jackson cut most of his family out of his estate.

There must be very few people involved who have known these docs, the Estate of course, but who are the others ? Did Oxman have a copy of these docs as attorney at law for the Jacksons ?

about Mr. Mesereau... he is just great... but he has already explained before why he can't be on MJ's side now. I mean, he IS on this side, but he can't be on the current legal team, since he is a "defender lawyer" (excuse me, I don't know the legal term for this) and he will certainly not defend CM. Aphrodite Jones posted this months ago, due to the constant request to Mr. Mesereau. According to Aphrodite, it was Mr. Messereau's explanation and yes, it makes total sense.

He is a criminal lawyer...that person "muzik-whatever" is pushing that nonsense. She is all over twitter spamming everybody with her Mesereau appeal.

ETA: Why is that in the news section? This is a fan made thing.
 
Tom Mesereau is a criminal defense lawyer - meaning that he defends people who is charged with a crime. He defended Michael as he was charged with several crimes. He cannot represent the family in their wrongful death or will/estate cases - that's just not his area, that's just not what he does.

Estate? I don't see that in his tweet.

Let me tell you this, I listened to 3 of his shows and a lot of people could stop his show based on libel (defamation using broadcast media. definition: the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image)

He's using a broadcast show that states "like a fact" that for example Julien's stole items/ selling stolen items, several people murdered / conspired to murder Michael, talks about DA/ Attorney General/ LAPD several people are liars, thief, crooks etc.. All of these people/company/organization can say "okay prove what you say" and if he can't they can stop his show..

Simply put - you can't go around accusing people without proof. (theories are good but they are not proof)

I recommend the use of word "allegedly"..

Even if the estate hasn't released the trust document, they could have pulled it off immediately, right?
After all it's a private document.
So many things have disappeared from the net, why would they let this be?

I don't think that they could remove it immediately. Media has a right to investigative journalism and protect their sources, they can sue the actual source but I don't think they know who that's for certain.

Example: Remember TMZ publishing Rihanna's photos after she was beaten. That was an illegal leak coming from inside LAPD. However they couldn't get the photos removed from the website. They started an internal investigation and filed a complaint about TMZ by the court to get them name the source. TMZ didn't name their source as they are protected by the law. To this day that picture still stays published.

Well, the article accompanying the trust document isn't favourable to the estate (that is a hint!!!!). They are criticized for not giving Katherine 99M$. They are called out for respecting MJ's wishes & not have his family involved in his business.

why would the estate work w/ a tabloid? They don't need the money. We know who do. So far, all Branca & McClaim's interview were giving to legitimate media outlets: The Associated Press & The Wall street Journal.

We know who run to the tabloids weekly...to fill their pocket.
