Thanks Amit for the update. Do we know the figures of the The One DVD for the last week?
Hey unbreakableking,

The One (DVD) debuted at #28 on last week's Billboard Top Music Video chart. That must be at least a few thousand copies, as Cher's Farewell Tour is selling less than 2K, and isn't in the Top 40.

Thread updated everyone.

Michael Jackson has scanned over 4.5 million albums in the USA over the past 2 years, five months.

Note: This total only takes into account Epic material released from October 2001 to November 2003 (and does not include the earlier regular editions of Michael's Epic studio albums, his work with the Jacksons, or any Motown catalog sales).

Thankyou for the sales update Amit!

Is anyone else surprised that the re-mastered version of "Off the Wall" has, and continues to outsell the re-mastered version of "Bad"? I would have thought the reverse would have occurred!

Guy.

Hey G - Since Off The Wall is a critical favorite, it's not too surprising to see it have an edge over Bad. With that said, the 15,000 units separating each title isn't that huge so it will be interesting to see if Bad ever catches up (or surpasses) Off The Wall's Soundscan tally.

I'm surprised no one has noticed that Dangerous (Special Edition) has surpassed 100,000 units scanned. Quite an accomplishment considering there's no bonus material on the set!

I hate to put a shade on this, but 'Off the Wall' covers a wider audience, I think, because it is considered a must-have soul album by the black music buyers...
