As if Nicki's quote from the Flawless remix was any better. I don't mind Michael references in songs, but not when they're referencing the pepsi burn or his death or his skin disorder. I don't find ones like that respectful. I'm sure they respect him, but ones like that just sound douchey. But that's just the defensive fan in me.

Gosh, how I loved that jam. Knew it by heart, still do. I was actually surprised to find out later on that Mos was actually in Ghosts. Further reason to like the man.

But yer, Mos was real supportive and respectful towards MJ (like most of the rap community).

Just out of curiosity, did Woody sue Mos Def for this "molestation" remark? I'm always jumping on Woody Allen remarks to defend him, and this seems slanderous, since he WAS investigated and not charged. I assume he didn't, because he's like Michael and would say "why bring attention to it."

Nah, All Day changed drastically since that post. Nothing ":doh:" about it. It's just a brag line, commending both Jordan and Jackson's immense wealth and stature.

I was just playing this song and came to see if someone had posted these lyrics. What's really cool is that Kanye actually dedicated the whole album to MJ. On top of that, the album (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) is widely considered as one of the greatest and most influential hip-hop/rap albums in modern music. I always see high praise for it online.

I think it's pretty cool such a critically acclaimed and influential album is dedicated to MJ ^_^
