Michael - The Great Album Debate

Jean Walker? That's not Jean Walker, lol. You should've figured that out by at least the pronunciation;) Jean can't pronounce anything correctly.

It has the same shaky voice though...it's annoying...

I want thoughts on the voice here (mostly believers ):

And seriously a facepalm to kreen for defending something he hasn't even heard.
Ahh...Michael's singing 'Break of Dawn' through the phone to me...:D Some words are a bit strange though, like 'remember', on the original he pronounces it a bit slower.... . But that could because of the way you made it, Pentum.

Is it Michael Pentum, is it, is it?

Man, Michael sure does have a lot of sound-a-likes. Makes you wonder why they picked the one they did for the Cascio songs when there are others who would've been more convincing. Until today I thought A Place With No Name was legit, until the real snippet of Michael singing the song.

I can't talk about Fall in Love because I've never heard it, or the other recently leaked Cascio songs, except in a short excerpt with an awful robotic voice over it. Hard to tell whether MJ's singing in tune or not in those conditions.

When you hear them you will understand. They are all available online in clear quality. No tags.

Michael singing out of tune.

You have to be Michael Jackson to sing out of tune and make it sound even cooler. Something the Cascio singer will never be able to do.

Because they need something... Big time ego. Jason Malachi has that, he also already had little ties in the industry, making it more convenient maybe. Other impersonators A) wouldn't want to hurt Michael and B) don't have any sort of formal label.

You mean you thought the 'demo' on YT was legit? It's funny how that 'demo' is the exact same lines in the song that we've heard Michael actually sing...Like, if it iwas legit, I'm sure we'd hear another segment of the song loool

yes but the guy you owned them originally was stupid enough had the wonderful idea to add some clicks on it so that everybody knows where the tracks come from.. :D

Yes but there are also versions without any tags on. From a different source.

I hear the difference between the version here and let's say the original, but it's just a different tune than we're used to. Doesn't sound really out of tune to me, just a bit...err..different.

And of course Michael sang a bit out of tune sometimes, all singers do.

Even Michael singing out of tune has better vocal ability than a lot of vocalists out there...lol...

Doesn't Michael sing slightly out of tune in All in Your Name?

I see what you mean, but I remember when I heard for the first time this live version back in 1988, I was shocked how different it was. So different that to my ears it was out of tune compared to the original. Now I was actually positively shocked to see how MJ managed to sing almost completely differently than on the tape/LP version and got to mesmerize me. I wanted it so badly on a tape, but at that time it was difficult to obtain it.

However, when you listen to the Jascksons LIVE album, you can hear MJ singing BEN out of tune time after time, and that was rather disturbing, but still it was Michael, and didn't sound as a different person.

Lol, I totally understand. It really sounds a bit 'off'/strange.

"Now is us, now is we"....;D.

Is it me, or does the music play out of tune/off key and not Michael in 2.15-2.17? (Would like to hear the Cascio singer sing this difficult (IMO) song. Mmm..on second thought: naaahhh....wouldn't work)

I didn't make anything ;)

Want more opinions on this, please? Everyone!

Sing the rest? I want to hear the "what we kav? is just a game, oh ho-ohh...ta."

I thought it was Pentum doing a really nice MJ impersonation. :D But not sure. ;)

Pentum, if you did do it, did you not include the screamy part because it'd be too obvious?

"Because... you know... no one can make that... that scream... like Michael can."

Wait a second. I remember you said you believe all the Cascio tracks are authentice after hearing ALL 12 tracks. Now, you are saying you haven't heard Fall In Love, but just the snippet???

P.S.: Please excuse my double posting. This site is as slow as a snail in my office. Editing a post would have frozen everything.

I've heard all 12 tracks, but the ones that leaked recently, I've only heard them with a "watermark" all over them, and in bad quality.

Even in bad quality, it is plainly obvious that tracks such as Water, Ready 2 Win and Fall In Love are not sung by Michael Jackson. But thankfully we have them in good quality too.
