Michael paid a lot for productions of his short films, now you could get those special effects, and scenery, for free now, Photoshop, video editing services. 20M for scream (estimated). Man I bet if Michael was here today, he will be jokingly :smilev2: "Back in the day, I had to pay for those special effect in my videos, and now they have it for free!" :smilev1::smilev2:
I really don't understand your comment. I don't think the kind of special effects Michael had in his short films are FREE nowadays...unless you're just talking about the simplest of the basics. For example, the ghosts/ghouls walking and dancing up the walls and on the ceiling in "Ghost"....or when they materialisd from the ectoplasm. What he was doing in just about ALL of his short films was far more advanced than photoshop. LOLOLOL. Just the make-up and the masks alone (the werewolf, the zombies in Thriller) would be just as expensive, today as they were back then, if not moreso. I mean....he used claymation in Speed Demon!! The face-morphing technology at the end of Black or White, is STILL expensive and super high-tech today.
