The video itself, directed by Bianca Censori, West’s wife, leans heavily into surrealism and layered symbolism. Characters move with intention, actions feel loaded with meaning, and nearly every frame invites interpretation. Yet Fabio’s portrayal stands apart. While others engage in what appears to be deliberate, almost ritualistic movement, his version of Michael Jackson simply looks into the camera, stands, and exits.
No dance. No narrative interaction. Just presence and absence.
That contrast has only fueled speculation. Was it meant as a statement? A critique? A placeholder for something deeper? Or simply a visual choice that didn’t fully land?

As of this morning, reactions continue to pour in across social media. Some viewers see hidden meaning in the cameo, interpreting it as a commentary on legacy, identity, or even the commercialization of icons. Others view it more critically, arguing that the execution feels hollow or even disrespectful given both the impersonator’s history and the lack of clear purpose in the scene.

Far more interesting than the person portraying him in the video, in my opinion, is Kanye's intention behind it. What is this MJ, just sitting there, trying to say? Is he no longer impressed by the madness of the world because he's already seen it all? Does even a visitor dressed as an alien no longer shock him?

I know that Kanye West is a big fan Michael but why did he invite Fabio of all people in his music video ?!!! The funny is that the video is released before the movie premiere... and we know that Fabio was rejected for the role :rolleyes:

Who cares about this unknown Fabio? You can't recognize him anyway. He's so small, almost invisible.
The intention is much more important.

I used to really like Kanye’s Power. But then I read about his unhinged rants against other artists and the whole circus he pulled on social media about nazi - that’s when I realized this guy is mentally ill... Honestly, I’m not even sure who has the worse reputation at this point: Kanye or Shia LaBeouf...

I don't like to mock a person mental illness but Kanye West is mentally ill. The moment he stopped taking his meds, he derailed completely and that explains why he made all this rants and said all those things you mentioned.

The video is directed by his wife and I think the part is really crazy when an alien dressed as a human gets arrested, but a human dressed as an alien isn't. What does that even mean?

I wouldn't bother looking for any deeper meaning in what Kanye creates...

Such a waste of talent, but at least he seems to be making amends (last I read).

I'll sit him out for another while. No interest in his output.
