That's quite a sweeping generalization... Personally I do care about other people and their feelings, often more than I care about my own feelings. Granted it seems that there are more selfish people in the world today than say 10 or 15 years ago, that doesn't necessarily mean that nobody cares for their fellow man. It's just that the people that do care about their fellow man aren't in positions to influence the rest of society because in today's society it seems that if you aren't famous then apparently you don't matter....
