In our Q&A series about Michael's music , now is the time we do a Q&A with Michael Prince - Michael Jackson's long time collaborator.

Michael Prince has agreed to talk about his collaboration with Michael, personal stories about Michael, memories and more !!!

Let me also remind you that Michael Prince is also involved with "Ultimate Thriller", a Michael Jackson Tribute show that involves Michael Prince, LaVelle Smith Jr. & Mic Thompson.

I would ask to give you some exclusive info about the new album like: a track that will definitely will make the album...also i want to ask him about newly discovered MJ songs they found while searching the hard drives.....I have a lot more Questions :D :D

If it is really his voice on those tracks, what kind of processing was done to them to make it so unrecognizable, and why? If you know, please clarify this question in as much detail as you can, because any further avoidance of this topic from parties involved only convinces fans of a fraud.

Did you notice any impact of the trial on Michael's work or demeanor? Did he ever talk about that experience or write any songs about it?

Did MJ talk to you about his planned album of classical music? How complete is it?
 
To add a few more questions to what I asked before:

There was a picture posted on a documentary by CM. In it included unreleased song titles written by Michael that was posted in his Carolwood home. The list included around 25 songs. Do you know anything about these songs Michael wrote and care to share information about them. I'm eager to hear about Dark Lady, Lady Of Summer, "Can't Stop Loving You", Remember What I Told You, Changes, The original "Hollywood Tonight" and Silent Spring!

Also the notes shows material released on Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection. (Scared Of The Moon, Beautiful Girl and Cheater) also the song You Were There and Cant Stop Loving You were up there. Are those the same songs from the Bad/Dangerous sessions?

Did Michael ever reflect on any of his previously released material?

Why in the studio or wherever; did Michael ever listen to his Motown/The Jackson's or he own solo work that was released?

Did Michael cover other artists music and if so did he sing it better then the original artist?

Did Michael critique other artist music?

Did Michael ever express his feelings on the direction music was going?

through Michael's career we know he was a hardworking perfectionist and always strived on creating the best outcomes that his fans would enjoy, in which years did you see Michael have the most passion in recording these songs? also, if you could re live one memory that you had with him, out of all the magical moments, what would it be? we're Michael's spirits high about the upcoming this is it Tour and what was his work ethic like when you experienced the genius behind the artistry we all admire and love? :')
 
Could you talk about the history of the song I Have This Dream? It seemed to hold a special place in Michael's heart, as he went back to it a number of times over the years*

*Michael started working on it with David Foster and Carol Bayer-Sager during the Invincible sessions and talked about it in interviews around 1999, describing the song as a strong contender for his next album. A few years later, in 2002, a songwriting contest was held by Foster and Sager:
"The contest gives AOL members the opportunity to co-write a song with the BMI-affiliated "King of Pop," as well as with Foster and Bayer-Sager. The winning submission will be recorded by Jackson himself and may be released as part of an upcoming album. All proceeds from the song will be donated to children's charities around the world."

The winner was the Nashville artist Ric Kipp, who in the end Michael never met and whose lyrics were allegedly never recorded.

Finally in 2005, a new all-star charity single was announced - From The Bottom Of My Heart, later retitled I Have This Dream. Was it the same song? What artists contributed to the recording? When was the last time Michael worked on it?
 
I am curious about a couple of rumoured unreleased album projects.

- Can you tell us some more about the Decade album? Which songs were supposed to be on it and how many "new" songs, at the time, were planned to be on it? We know that there were some Dangerous album tracks, we know about 1989 versions of Never Can Say Goodbye and I Want You Back but what else? And the two mentioned J5 songs; will we get to hear them?

- It´s rumoured that MJ was to release an album around 2003. We have been reading things like the "Resurrection" album. Is this true and can you give some more info about the abandoned album project; which songs that were planned to be on it?

- I´ve also read that MJ some time wanted to release an all Beatles cover album. Is this true, and did he record more Beatles cover songs other than Come Together? (Rumours say that he recorded "Strawberry Fields Forever")
 
PS! Do you know if Michael had secret collaboration sessions with Prince that we don´t know about? I have read that they met several times over the years, and that Prince visited MJ in the studio during the History sessions (I think). Do you know anything about this potensial meeting and if any collaboration took place??

As far as I know, Michael Prince joined MJ in the middle/late 90s. I don't think he knows anything about the Decade album. But I'm very curious about your other 3 questions :)

One more:

-We have learned from interviews that MJ wanted to release Invincible in 1999, but he wanted the new songs to sound different than his older material. Therefore, he nearly started from scratch and the album was postponed for 2 years. How do the earlier, unreleased Invincible tracks sound like compared to the songs on the actual album? Are there songs you really wanted to see released, or do you prefer the album as it is?
 
Has MJ mentioned his feelings about posthumous releases, not only about what could be done with what he was working after his passing, but also on releases of the other artists, has he ever said something about this issue with you?
 
How would you describe Michael's musical style in these last couple years? What direction was he heading towards, musically?

Did Michael already have completed songs that he picked himself to be ready to put on a new album?

-Who created that awesome Threatened-beat that was supposed to play at the end of Thriller in TII?

-Did Michael finish any song in 2008/2009 or he start recording but never finish it? And did we have any chance to hear what Michael work in 2008/2009?
-"I Am a Loser" and "I Was a Loser" are the same song ?
-In documentary ''The Man Who Killed Michael Jackson'' we can see a part of paper with title of the song like "Silent Spring","D.I.E","Dark Lady" and other. Did You know anything about this songs?
-Did Michael have choosen song fort first single of new album ?
-Did Michael choose song for lead single of new album or he talking about it ?
-Did he have a plan for new music video(maybe short film)?
