Latest on MJJC

I recently met my new friend in school and we instantly got along when we found out that we were both MJ fans. I told he that I belonged to mjjc and she asked me to post this for her because she is too afraid to join and post it herself
First off she said she remembers Michael's music being filled in her home since she was little; from her family playing the J5 Christmas album during Christmas, MJ days on VH1(when it was a great channel) and being scared of Thriller and when Joseph spanked Tito in the Jacksons movie. She was soo excited to learn that her mother has an autograph pic of Michael from the Bad Tour.
But during the 05 trial she laughed at some of the disgusting jokes kids at her school would say about him and repeated horrible demeaning things people on tv and in the media would say about him. she even bought a satire birthday card of him for her friend. fortunately the following year, this all stopped. She spent the whole summer obsessing over Michael and his family by listening to their music, reading books, and mags, and watching videos/footage. But most importantly she credits mjnewsonline for reconnecting her with Michael and showing her how he was one of the most selfless, caring, and beautifulest humans to walk this earth.
The main reason I'm posting this for her is because she wants to apologize to all of the fans that never once hurt Michael and she feels like she can never be considered a loyal fan after what she had done/said. Everytime she thinks of these things she feels naseous and now that Michael has passed she feels even worse. Every night she prays for Michael and his family and she also asks God and Michael for forgiveness since she has offended him. I try my best to comfort her and reassure her that Micheal would forgive her but she really felt a strong need to tell and apologize to the other fans around the world and she hopes that this doesn't anger you all.

aww...please tell your friend that she loves Michaell and that is all that matters.....Michael would forgive her and I am sure God has already...she just needs to forgive herself.....thank you for sharing..:)

Please tell her not to feel like this and that she shouldn't consider herself not to be 'loyal'. Everybody makes mistakes, it's part of being human and the fact that she 'came back' to Michael after the trial proves alot. It takes alot to stand out from the crowd and say "No, I'm a fan" when everybody around you is making jokes and calling him.
Please also tell her not to be afraid of coming on here, everybody on MJJC is very friendly, welcoming and will be glad to have any fan on board. :)
 
Please tell her that God has already forgiven her and that Michael would forgive her. And that the only one not forgiving her now is her herself. You can also tell her that some here have became fans after Michael's passing and are on here and how they have struggled with guilt but that the members who have been fans all along have encouraged the new fans.
Tell her to come on and she'll be welcomed.

I showed her all of your posts and she feels sooo much better! She really appreciates all of your heartfelt responses. She thanks everyone who responded because you all made a huge impact on her with your generosity

People make mistakes, I do, you do, every human being does.

God, and Michael himself would appreciate it if she shares her love for Michael from now on..
whether it's here or somewhere else. And we all would appreciate that too! ;)

Oh and BTW....you know how they say that when kids have a crush on someone, they end up bullying that person to hide their secret crush? That's what your friend's story reminds me of :lol:
 
Please tell her she's like the rest of us--just human.

We ALL go through different things that change us all the time. And considering the barrage of misinformation and maliciousness that was fed to the general public about MJ, her rollercoaster of feelings for him is completely understandable.

Tell her also one of the reasons Michael so loved children was the simplicity of their outlook. They simply were too young to have been exposed to all the junk going on out there in the world, so they just accepted him for who he was. Someone whose dancing and singing made them feel good--just as she did when she was little. As children grow, they do become more aware of their surroundings and are OF COURSE affected by them.

Again, and as Michael would say, that's human nature.

So please tell your friend to give herself a break. Michael would.
