To whom it may concern...
You might want to change the background color (behind the background image)
and use a different font.
 
Well spotted, will update ;) although wow you have one very long screen there hahaha :)
 
The new desing looks good but I liked the old one better. I'm sure I'm going to get used to it but the old one was easier to look at.

I'm sure you will, and believe it or not I had the exact same comments with the last one when I updated it.
 
I don't know if it's some kind of glitch or something but when I go to this thread a message like this pops up: Server http.//www.-------.net asks for username and password. Server's message: "CONTRUCTION AREA - We will be back online in a few days!"

It happens only when I enter this thread. Don't click that url because I don't know what it is.

I don't think this is as a result of anything here as that site has no connection to MJJC what so ever, my thoughts its something locally on your own machine.

It hasn't happened to me before. Weird. I just thought I should mention if it's a glitch. :) I edit my post so no one goes there.

This also happens to me. Only in this thread.
 
I've removed it from their signature so should not cause anymore issues.
 
Is there any way you can make the color a bit darker when a thread is unread? Otherwise I like it. :)
 
I like the new theme! Perhaps my only qualm is that the font that lists the thread titles on a forum, it's a bit hard to distinguish 'bold' from 'normal' font at first. It's not really an issue though, after a second I can distinguish it pretty easily. Maybe you could find another way to distinguish unread threads though? Virre suggested a darker colour which is a good suggestion, I personally imagine it'd be better though if it was bright when unread, turning darker after you read it.

On the whole I like it, freshens up the place so good job Gaz :)
 
I will mention this again here, because it's something that really bothers me and makes it very difficult for me to browse the forum. Everything is great about the design except that it's too bright. I would like a darker version, with fewer colors like the Billie Jean one before. My eyes are very sensitive, I had to adjust my screen brightness, it's very bothersome. :no:

As I've already said here I am now in the process of building a dark one (y) :)
 
I am also noting all feedback and making tweaks as I go ;)
 
Titles are now black which you can see very well which are unread

I like it better black!

I think the letters are too close to each other and it looks a bit "sumdgy" when you're not on the main page (new posts, forum sections, threads) because they're smaller there. Is it possible to make a bigger gap?

Not a big fan of "Impact"

Not possible, its part of the core overall look - sorry.
 
Love it!!! Best look yet for the site. Impact not my fave font either but it reminds me of BAD so all good!

Looks good now.
(My screen just showed the grey sides, but the screenshot tool captured the whole page from top to bottom).

Btw, I'd replace the impact font with a more eye-friendly one too (especially on the thread titles).
It's a little too bold and big. Otherwise i like the new design. :)
