A new 7 part music documentary is starting on PBS tomorrow 11-14 called SOUNDBREAKING.

Originally started by George Martin and continued by his son after his death. I read that the original purpose of the recording studio was to capture the vocalist and musicians as closely as possible to imagine you were in the room with them. This picks up when the studio actually became another musician.

Since this is the way most of Michael's music was made, I thought it would be pretty interesting. It's also supposed to not be over the heads of people who don't understand what all that equipment is or what it does.

It was shown this side of the pond a few months ago, but it was 8 episodes long.
I found it very interesting and particularly seventh episode:)
Pay attention what John Landis says, and what we possibly get to see next year:cheeky:

:) Thanks Barbee!

And forgive me for going off topic a bit, I'm not trying to derail your thread,
but I want to say rest in peace to Gwen Ifill, PBS newscaster and journalist.
November 14th 2016.
