I am sick and tired of seeing this threads about 'people trying to make money off of MJ'.

Why is it that nearly every new MJ thing that comes out, we get people whining 'OMG THEY ARE JUST MAKING MONEY OFF OF MICHAEL!! DON'T BUY IT!'

My opinion? STFU!

Are they making money? Technically yes. But ya know, thats a sad fact of a life. IF YOU WANT A CERTAIN SOMETHING YOU MUST PAY MONEY FOR IT! Nothing in this world is for free. If things were free, they would have less value!

Bad or not, these people are at least keeping MJ's memory alive!! and that should be enough for you 'fans'! What, do you want everyone to just forget him!?

(for the record, I'm referring to merchandise)

I so agree with you on that one.
I also think the two men responsible of the estate were hired by Michael to make money and profits out of him, that's their job, so for me there's nothing wrong for them to do their job.
But I think that mean people who spreads false things about Michael and make money out of it, this is bad. But promote the image of Michael and keep his legacy alive, I don't see anything wrong with that. We buy it anyway. I don't think we would prefer to see nothing new, hear nothing new and don't have any stories been told about good memories he spent with some people.

I no what you meen, we just have to ignore the bullshit, were only bring more attention to it! And anything other people are making money of, we can benifit of of as fans, we just have to take, like an exibition of his belongings, we just have to enjoy it, not think about the rubbish of who's making money from stuff like that! Because theres nothing we can do about it!

well gee.it is funny that the people who are making the money..AEG and SONY.....have something to do with his death IMO. So yeah I am sick of people making money off his death...Do I want him to be forgotten about???....Well that is a stupid question...of course no one want him to be forgotten about....I would be easier for the fans if the people who were responsible for his death werent the one's making all the money...that is all.
 
^^ agreed. I have no problem with someone releasing a bit of Michael memorabilia, a tribute or whatever.

I have a problem with some of the people who are doing it though.

I don't think STFU is an answer though, I know it's your opinion - but we are all entitled to that.

There are lots of people still grieving over his death - so we are all experincing different emotions. Some people are bothered by all the marketing more than others, that's their choice. Their feelings, you can't criticise them for that.

Michael's memory is left alive from the times he walked into a studio, walked onto a stage etc etc. That's all I need.
 
I believe it's more about the this is it film that i'm like okay so we are going to make a film out of this Unfortunate situation.But me as a fan I am wearing the t-shirts etc.

I mean, you don't see Elvis fans get all moany anytime a new Elvis thing comes out.

I think it's the timimg for some of these things ..and to be honest michael hasn't been this hot in years and that's why some are taking advantage . You have the new fans then the fans who didn't like him before and now like him now (the bandwagon fans)are grabing anything michael.Gotta strike while the iron is hot .But for me personally if they going to release old tours , shirts I will get it i'm just not with the movie.Maybe in a couple years they could have did like a tupac Resurrection type film then fine .
 
Hey, I've been a fan since I was a toddler. Before his death it was hard for me to find MJ merchandise. and now theres an endless supply of MJ related memorabilia. Though the circumstances are very sad indeed.
 
Unfortunately, that's business. If people can make money, they'll make it without a care. It's how the world works and always will, unfortunate but true.
