I love it! :woohoo:

I'm beyond thrilled to read that Jericho is covering on MJ song, can't wait to hear it!:dancin:

That cover looks awful and I'm not a big fan of metal - I'm not familar with many of the artists listed - but as an MJ fan I'm interested to hear this.
Presumably the MJ Estate have given this the go ahead??

I also notice that 'Billie Jean' is spelled incorrectly twice on that Amazon page LOL (they did get it right once).

Not just on the Amazon page. It's wrong on the CD sleeve...

My sentiments about metal too. I'm no big fan of it, I don't know most artists on this album. But hearing MJ's music in different interpretations can be interesting. I just wonder who is the target group of this album? Metal fans? MJ fans? I don't know.

This is probably aimed more towards metal fans. For those who are not familiar, tribute albums like this are pretty common in metal.

The album is on Spotify now. Let me save you all the trouble - it sucks. Lazy and uninspired, as I suspected.

However, the cover of Billie Jean by Corey Glover from Living Color was really cool. Chris Jericho was the only other one who seemed really into his cover, but he did Dirty Diana, so it's not like he was ever going to approach the original. I had high hopes for Doug Pinnick's cover of Rock With You, but it was very underwhelming. Everything else was cringeworthy at best. Some strange song choices on this album, almost as if nobody realized that there were far better songs in Michael's catalog that would lend themselves better to metal instrumentation.

In conclusion: there are much, MUCH better metal covers of Michael's music on YouTube. Listen to Billie Jean by Corey Glover, skip the rest.

my dad bought this for my uncle, he played it on the blu ray player.. ehmmm, not at all good :/ imo of course.
