Hi guys and girls, I have been listening non stop to STTR and absolutely love it, I think its amazing and dont know why it did not make the "Michael" album but who knows what goes on.

My question is what era was this song made as I keep hearing it was an Invincible outtake but it sounds a bit more newer than that and when I go through the comprehensive list of unreleased tracks from over the years ( http://www.michaeljackson.estranky.c...-material.html ) and there is no mention of it anywhere and now it has just popped up all of the sudden. Is it possible it could be one of the Will.I.Am tracks or am I completely way off?

Also, what info do we have on STTR, who wrote it, produced it, anything at all would be appreciated.

I might be completely wrong but I think it was recorded 1999-01 and produced by Rodney Jerkins, but I'm willing to be corrected if that's not correct!!

It is already discussed in this thread post: #39

Nothing is known for certain but the information floating around is:

-a 1998 Rodney Jerkins track (Invincible outtake)
-a 2002 Tricky Stewart song, penned by Michael and the Clutch
-started late 2006 in Ireland with Jerkins, finished in Las Vegas 2008

My guess is either the first or last is correct.

Thanks Alec, L.T.D. & Dangerous, guess nothing is certain yet until we get an official release in years to come perhaps. I cant wait for the rest of the world to hear this track, they will be shocked !!

LOVE LOVE this song. Should have been the first single off the new album. Would have taken MJ right back where he deserves to be - on the dance floor

I predict lady gaga will duet with michael on STTR in the future duets album, and the song will have a modern sound.
