I never questioned this man,s sexual identity, not even when way back in the days I was seen him on tv. ( James Hetfield type was my ,,style,,).
The reality that some ppl are loners for long period of time is overlooked in his case, after all he was human behind the KOP persona.
Being without a partner seems to attract ppls guessing or suspicions even nowadays.
There are people in this world that prefer to stay alone after a heartbreak, or after losing for good a partner, or when they prioritize their passion/career over personal life, or they are just the last romantics and dreamers that are believing in a meaningful relationship. And for which adulthood doesnt mean that we have se× inside our brain all the time. I have plenty of examples around me, women and men as well, even young men as in their 30's.
