So Michael actually jumped from the subway roof in the Bad music video?

I was watching a video on Bad (behind the scenes) and it shows the scene when the backup dancers enter - then Michael hops down from the subway roof.

In this clip (2:30-2:52), you can see how it was done:

It’s one thing to dance on stage and in music videos, but jumping from a train station’s indoor roof is real stuntmen work. 😳 Michael also jumped into the air at the beginning of Jam in the Dangerous concerts.

oh my gosh @Mariah :) showed me this video recently! I found it so kool! you watch him go up the ladder and i wish you can better see what is keeping him up there. i can see a bar by his hands but how he stay up there? super fun video clip i enjoyed watching multiple times.

I wonder if they had to shoot hat scene multiple times. And how did he practice this jump? It is one thing to safely land on your feet, but another to jump from a ceiling right into a dancing stance :D Michael CATSON! My man had kitty skills :ROFLMAO::love:

Ah the magic of editing. Speaking of which there is great footage of Scorsese in the editing room showing multiple ceiling drop takes.
