This is an extremely difficult time for all of us. With the trial taking its toll on us physically, mentally and emotionally it is getting extremely difficult to navigate through the plethora of threads in this forum. I’m humbly requesting the amazing staff to please see if we can have a lesser number of ‘Sticky’ threads and if similar threads may be collected and grouped together so the forum looks tidy and one does not get lost or bogged down by the vast amount of information and discussion here. For example- if we have a separate ‘Sticky’ for every trial day discussion it will take up the entire first page in a matter of days and leave no room for any other thread.</SPAN>

May I suggest the following-</SPAN>
  1. We have only one Sticky for “Everyday Trial summary-no discussion” where only the summaries are posted and anyone looking for any particular day’s summary can simply visit that thread and find it. </SPAN>
  2. Separate Non-sticky Discussion threads for each day.</SPAN>
  3. Only one Sticky for “All media reports/articles-no discussion” where we can find articles written on the trial as it progresses and any particular day’s article may be found instantly without going through the discussions. </SPAN>
  4. New Media articles may be posted as non-sticky everyday where discussions may be had on each or every one of them.
  5. These Stickies may remain as they are-</SPAN>
  • Medical info questions and answers thread.</SPAN>
  • Court procedures and law questions and answers</SPAN>
  • Med testimony explanation </SPAN>
  • Larry Nimmer’s exclusive Court Side Video diary</SPAN>
  • Official Court page for People Vs Con M</SPAN>

  • Hope the staff pl. consider these suggestions. Thanks and many hugs and all my L.O.V.E to each one of us who is fighting for justice for Michael!</SPAN>

I tend to agree somewhat with you Ankita, on the Media reports. I'm finding that the news media recap the previous day(s) with the current days proceedings, so unless you shorten the media report from its 'as published ' state, several stories and days merge into each thread...even though each is headed 'for the day'.

I had started adding media reports for day two under a separate header on day 1 thread, but the thread was locked in the middle of my appx 3rd post. There was then a sticky for day 2 media, but none for day three, so I'm a little confused as to what is wanted.

I'm happy to go with the flow for whatever arrangement is agreed, but unless sticky's are pre-set up before court starts each day, I cannot make them (only a non-sticky) when I start posting. If all discussions and media reports have a 'per day' thread, it will fill up p1 , as you say. I'm not sure many people are reading the media anyway, as most people want to discuss.

My PC went a bit haywire today and minimised all the text sizes so that didn't help....sorry about the typo in the 29th Sept media heading!

Thank you for the suggestion - Ivy already has one thread containing all sumaries as a sticky

I will do the same for All media reports/articles-no discussion&#8221; and we will just change the
date each day before proceedings so all articles are in one place for review.

mystosis just place all aticles in this thread it will remain as a sticky
All media reports/articles-no discussion&#8221; (DATE)

I hope that helps

Thanks for this. there did seem to to many threads. it was getting abit confusing

Thank you, it is a little easier now on the case page. The only point I noticed (it could be me not looking properly) but I went into the summaries thread as I wanted to look back at day 2 but appeared to only be day 3 showing.

Also can I clarify in my own mind that as we have the full summaries already on the forum that the news thread is to really give us an idea of how the trial is being portrayed in the media?

All summaries are in the summary thread - The title refllects the day of the last summary posted

That is correct - its just the media take on the trial

Thankyou and hugs to you qbee ((())) but where have all the daily trial Discussion threads gone?! Only the 30th Sept Trial Discussion thread is present, where are the ones for Sept 27, 28 and 29 gone? :O

They are all right here. I just scrolled down and found 27th 28th and 29th discussion threads
The only one that will be sticky is the day we are on as we want to start a new discussion each
day but you can still post in the previous discusions any time. I hope that helps :)

I'm thinking of creating a timeline from 24 June til 26 June (or just after). This info would be pulled together from each testimony (some may contribute more than others) and further details will be filled in after each witness. Do people see a benefit in such a posting?

Could you put the threads of previous days in a separate sub-forum?

It would reduce the confusion of the discussion and media threads!

Thank you so much...that is a lot easier for posting, and I hope is still clear for reading too, as all most media articles seem to be dated below the headline.

Thank you for the sugesstion - I cant create a sub forum but I will make a list of links to each days discussion thread
and I will Stickey it so fans can easily find them. I ll post the link here once i have created it. I hope that helps

A List of each days court discussion threads
http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/threads/119329-LIST-of-each-court-date-discussion-threads

Just an idea, I think it would be great to have a thread that is kind of a shorter version of the discussion thread where the mods or others would just copy over the relevant comments that just summarize what is happening in the courtroom at the moment, I think that would make doing the complete summaries easier too.

ETA: I'm thinking of something like this, this would be the summary of the first witness yesterday:

thrillerchild Bob Johnson on stand

CinnamonGirl
InSession: Prosecutors are questioning Bob Johnson, Johnson works at Nonin Medical, a company that makes medical monitoring equipment. #MurrayTrial

thrillerchild He's involved with manufacturing of medical observation equipment etc

elusive moonwalker talking about the model murray used for mj. the expert says it should not be used for continuas monitoring should just be used for spot checking.stating that it has no audible alarms and should only be used for spot checking

talking about the models that do have audible and visual alarms

checker with alarm costs about 500 $ more

elusive moonwalker showing a couple of more models a table top one that cost about 1200 $ pros is basically showing that murray was cheap got the most basic model and didnt even use it properly

Arklove They're basically like home care models....Not as accurate, sometimes...I would use that on someone who's condition is more stable.....Not for someone on propofol...

elusive moonwalker he says you can rent the models aswell for $40 a month.instead of buying it for 700. direct over

cross

elusive moonwalker flannagan getting shot down. witenss says u must monitor all the time u cant be looking at the monitor non stop and watching the paitent at the same time.
spot checking is not 10 mins its 10 seconds great witness so far

elusive moonwalker cross over re direct. and re cross quick one question from each side.

FlyAway So by leasing that monitor for only 40 $ per month, Michael´s life could maybe have been saved..

twinklEE IMO u could tell that he didn't wanna help the defense with any answer at all
point made witness did his job!
he did a great job and didn't let flanagan put words into his mouth
