I was wondering, & by no means am I a dr. or know alot about the body, etc. I was wondering about that 'adrenaline shot' that ppl have through the chest / heart that speeds up the heart rate & get the heart pumping again- Is Michael's case a case where it could have been used / helped???

Even with that amount of Propofol in his body??? Wouldn't they cancel each other out?

Even those 2 paddles as well?

I want to make it clear I do not know the medical name or term for this 'adrenaline' shot
or the name of the 2 paddles

Regarding the paddles: (note..you do NOT use them if the heart has stopped or slowed down. Only in movies do they use it on a flatline. NEVER in real life)

Defibrillation is a process in which an electronic device gives an electric shock to the heart. This helps reestablish normal contraction rhythms in a heart having dangerous arrhythmia or in cardiac arrest. In recent years small portable defibrillators have become available. These are called automated external defibrillators or AEDs.

AHA Scientific Position

It's essential to integrate early defibrillation into an effective emergency cardiovascular care system. This means employing the four-part "chain of survival" concept.

* Early Access — quickly calling the Emergency Medical Services (9-1-1) system
* Early CPR — promptly giving cardiopulmonary resuscitation when needed
* Early Defibrillation — having proper equipment and being trained to use it when indicated
* Early Advanced Cardiovascular Care

You would give EPINEPHRINE to start a stopped heart.

It would have been beneficial for Michael to have had a heart monitor so the doctor would have known the exact rhythm the heart was in at the time so you can treat. The rescue workers would have had that when they arrived. The most important thing would have been to keep the heart beating and keep him breathing.

I wanted to know why ephinephrine was not stated on the coroner's report. Surely it would have been used.

I am not sure it has not been reported. Somewhere it is posted as "Ephedrene" and I think that was a mistake.
