Thriller 25 remains one of the most baffling artistic decisions of Michael’s career. What a piss-poor package for such an important anniversary. I’m grateful we got “For All Time” out of the deal, but damn.

I suspect MJ was not very involved in this project. My guess is he wasn't the one who chose "For All Time," either.

Clearly he did- but nothing indicates he had much involvement with Kanye's remix, Beat It with Fergie, etc.

There were a lot of CD's thrown at his room which I assume are also writer's demos, there's a chance that he might never have recorded them since they weren't written listed on any of his notes.

I can only speak for myself, but it would make little difference to me since they still had the gall to put fake vocals on an album and never apologized for it. I also still maintain that none of the songs were up to MJ's standards, the lyrics especially are very weak, so I doubt he'd have recorded them anyway. Breaking News is especially bad, as a song too.
