The cause of that devastating recording?

I listen to the tape of Michael, with the slurred voice. Michael's Mind was in TACT. all those durgs c.murray gave Michael did nothing to destory Michael's Mind. He talked about every thing he lived and work for. That was Michael Jackson from the Heart. (Love you MJ.)
 
The recording is so, so sad. But, in a way, I guess it's nice to know that his concern for children was so genuine that, even in that state, he was thinking about how to help sick children.
 
So far, imo, the question why these recordings even excist in the first place remains unanswered. Very strange and inapropriate, not to mention (as mentioned earlies) not quite in line with the dr-patient confidentiality. What on earth was going on there....
 
c.murry durgged Michael and recorded him, Why? because in murrary statement to the police he said he ask Michael would he needing propofol treatments after the Concerts, and Michael said NO, I think I will be fine after the Concerts. This recording was c.murrary's Insurance policy.
 
Michael's slurred voice c.murrary drugged him. Michael spoke from the heart the durgs only altered his voice, not his heart. Michael talked about every thing he lived and work for Helping Others. Michael's words spoke volumes over those durgs. The slurred speach was murrary's insurance policy.
 
It seems the prosecution presented the tape to show that even after Muarry witnessed the effects the medications had on Michael, he continued to order more and further sedate him. It was to show that Muarry is accountable, that he had knowledge of the results of his doctoring, and that he cannot say some other doctor (e.g., Klien) did it!!!! This tape may be painful, but it is significant in showing the mindset and actions of Muarry.
 
^That's what I'm thinking too, Petra. It's all terribly sad, though. I can't recall ever being that sedated. I mean, I've slurred my words a bit here and there, but I've never been so bad so as to sound borderline unintelligible like Michael sounds in this audio. I think it is to prove that 1)he knew what his "treatments" did to Michael, and 2) he continued administering them, thus, he is accountable and cannot blame Klein or any other doctor for his own actions.

As for the purpose of the recording existing at all, I think it is very likely that Murray was planning on selling/threatening to sell it to the media once he and Michael were through, which was bound to happen at one point or other. His decadent lifestyle and his various debts would steer him in the direction of extortion and blackmail... I certainly wouldn't put it past him.
 
Snap I agree. What is the intention of your doctor to tape you under the influence of medication he gives you? Now, he cannot say he is doing research with Michael's approval on "The Effects of Overdose." I strongly feel that he had a bizarre and unscrupulous reason for that recording. This is a man who still showed no regret and remorse for his actions.
