Recorded doesn't neccessarily mean it has vocals.

One thing I've noticed about D.N.A.: only tapes #1 & #3 are (seperately) on auction. Without #2 the song would be incomplete

Could "What Do You Want From Me" being a rewritten version of a Bad era recording called "What You Do To Me"? just a (stupid) thought🤔

Most of the tapes are songs that have been written for Michael, but have never been recorded by Michael.
Some are Instrumentals. And as @Fuzball stated correctly, D.N.A is missing the vocals. Reel #1 and #3 are instrumentals only.

All Damien said was that he's never heard of the songs. Also, there is no evidence stating that these are not mj songs or they don't have vocals. For all we know, all of those songs could be vocally complete songs my MJ himself.
