Quite a loss indeed. Hopefully they work it out in the end. Anyway, let's stick to MJ on this thread....Yeah, Prince's sister died. Who even knows how that's gonna work out now.

I assume it's just the song he made for the movie soundtrack that was rejected. As far as I know it doesn't have anything to do with MJ other than Brad played it for him and he said he liked it.Brad Buxer revealed the 40th song title on his list - "Song from Moulin Rouge":
Anyone know anything about that title?

				Trash VS Garbagefrom michaeljackson.com:
Prince was a genius in his own right. He was an incredible artist. But nobody can compare Prince with Michael and nobody can compare the Prince Estate with the Michael Jackson Estate.

In the words of Quincy, "you can't polish doo doo". Michael took the chance, tested the waters and it didn't work. The guy was picked to produce a Michael Jackson album, worked on several songs with the man himself and suddenly got sacked because people thought his songs sounded dated and wouldn't hold up. Several years and a couple of compilations go by and none of your songs are ever considered (not counting Superfly Sister).
One can see his reasons.
nothing to do with her, it was a huge mess. anyway, enough about prince lads, its the mj unreleased songs discussion, not prince.Yeah, Prince's sister died. Who even knows how that's gonna work out now.
Yeah, no more thinking about how bad off those sods are or are not, we have our own miserly squalor to wallow in LOLnothing to do with her, it was a huge mess. anyway, enough about prince lads, its the mj unreleased songs discussion, not prince.
It's just occured to me now that Earth Song is as immaculately produced as Billie Jean. Just as incandescent and pristine.
^Bill Bottrell's comment on this leaked mix of ES:
This is a rough mix. It sounds like it was done the day of the orchestra session, because the strings parts are all there for inspection. The Voc is too up and too dry, the drums are too loud, etc.
6/91 is my only mix. the orchestra is blended with synths for reasons that became clear when I just now heard this one with a clear orch.
Everyone loves the head-voice in the outro. Me too.
Just that the words aren't there.
I was stressed for weeks knowing the words weren't there for the outro and I had to snag M just for a couple hours to do it. I've said how he was not on board with my "rock" production and I suspected ES was off the album.

IDK, sounds like they're trying to start some engagement.Whether it's real or not, and to a certain character who may be reading this, pLease dOn'T begin harassing them For answers.
Probably, but I don't wanna scare away a potential source because they started being spammed with questions lol. I don't mean to paint a target on anyone here. Just sharing info that may or may not turn out to be true.IDK, sounds like they're trying to start some engagement.
Indeed, but they better post a picture of the tapes they have for proof.IDK, sounds like they're trying to start some engagement.
Indeed. Earth Song is, imo, one of his greatest musical achievements. It's just occured to me now that Earth Song is as immaculately produced as Billie Jean. Just as incandescent and pristine.
The first two verses and choruses are from the Dangerous sessions. Everything from the bridge onward is from late March 1995.are the ES vocals (on HIStory album) from the 1990 Dangerous sessions? but just the outro re-recorded?
I’ll give him this: he’s directly communicating with people who HAVE heard the songs or worked on them. That’s more gutsy than most “insiders” are. Somebody will eventually either call him out or affirm him.I was looking through Bill Bottrell's tweets and I found someone claiming that they bought the Hayvenhurst tapes from a collector, and along with it they gave info on the date and state of completion of Apocalypse Now. Grain of salt, obviously. But...
"16.09.1986, 6:24 in length. Instrumental, no vocals. Sounds interesting."
They've also given the lyrics of Homeless Bound:
"I beg for change, I will not steal or sell drugs. /See I got nothing, See I got no money, I got nothing, I got no job, I’m on the street."
Whether it's real or not, and to a certain character who may be reading this, pLease dOn'T begin harassing them For answers. That was not my not my Intention here.
I talked with someone who had heard “homeless bound”. They said what they heard was instrumental with sections of homeless people talking.I was looking through Bill Bottrell's tweets and I found someone claiming that they bought the Hayvenhurst tapes from a collector, and along with it they gave info on the date and state of completion of Apocalypse Now. Lord Jackson will be at his home with a gun asking for the MJ material at any moment now lol.I will say, I do applaud this man for willingly identifying himself. MJ fans are about to bug the living hell out of him for these tapes.
I don’t think he’ll be “asking”Lord Jackson will be at his home with a gun asking for the MJ material at any moment now lol.
Prince’s estate has been far more competent than Michael’s, at least in the past with the previous management anyway.Trash VS Garbage
Are you able to confirm with that source if those are the words that the people on the interviews are saying?I talked with someone who had heard “homeless bound”. They said what they heard was instrumental with sections of homeless people talking.
Hot take here, but part of me wishes MJ had finished ES for Dangerous (replacing heal the world) and added the grit vocals at the end and blended with the falsetto voice. He woulda been nearly five years younger so I imagine the grit vocals would have been a lot stronger in 91 than they were in 95. It would have also been a good way to keep the album's sound strong as I always felt HTW slowed it down a little too much. Idk maybe I'm in the minority here.

Those are the lines of that interview. Supposedly.homeless bound has no vocal, just interviews with the homeless.
Apparently the lyrics are correct, but there’s no mj vocals whatsoever. There’s 3 sections of homeless people talking and that’s where the lyrics come from. Surprisingly I think that guy who has the hayvenhurst tracks may be legitAre you able to confirm with that source if those are the words that the people on the interviews are saying?
And also a version without the sample was played at the same seminar where that higher quality recording of TYLA originates from, I'm almost certain there's a seminar recording of it which is probably circulating as we speak. The guy on the tweet gave high praises to the song saying it's got one of the best unreleased beats, if that really is true I'm very much hoping that it leaks now lol.
