I still wonder what made them want to remix a song with no lyrical contentIt's not quite my tempo.
It doesn't have the cinematic strings so it's entirely flat in my estimate.

Limited amount of music available at the time I’d guess.I still wonder what made them want to remix a song with no lyrical content
Well they just gave the tracks to producers to see what they could do to them.I still wonder what made them want to remix a song with no lyrical content
Yeah, that’s kinda what I figured. Keep the real stuff close to chest until they can see what the producers could bring to the table.Well they just gave the tracks to producers to see what they could do to them.

Mark Ronson's Michael Jackson track 'definitely' features King of Pop's vocals
However, singer/producer is unsure whether contribution will be included on 'Michael'www.nme.com
I like a lot Ronson's stuff, why give him the worst possible song though.Well they just gave the tracks to producers to see what they could do to them.

I don't understand why people hate the song so much. I like the beatboxing and the piano melody. It's a funny juxtaposition.I like a lot Ronson's stuff, why give him the worst possible song though.
For me, it’s just a mediocre composition. The melody is on the mid side and it almost feels like a Disney song in the worst way.I don't understand why people hate the song so much. I like the beatboxing and the piano melody. It's a funny juxtaposition.
Nope this is just mix but basically i was the loser is just a add new bg vocals so this is real but not the original fileSomeone is claiming this is the real one, although I’m not sure
Well I guess it's just novel to me then. Cause I don't know enough Disney songs to really understand that point. For me, it’s just a mediocre composition. The melody is on the mid side and it almost feels like a Disney song in the worst way.
I've listened to quite enough for research purposes and let me tell you...this sounds more like a Queen reject than a Disney song. "Neverland Landing" fits the bill better.Well I guess it's just novel to me then. Cause I don't know enough Disney songs to really understand that point.
Yeah, or Elton John. Like it's just your average mid 70s tune.I've listened to quite enough for research purposes and let me tell you...this sounds more like a Queen reject than a Disney song. "Neverland Landing" fits the bill better.
Michael also thought Buffalo Bill could be a hit and he said he was so proud of that one when said that in the interview from 1983 i wonder how did it soundWhat's also funny... How John Barnes thought Buffalo Bill was great and Bill Bottrell thought Buffalo Bill was silly and awful.
some unleaked snippets...Where is the "I was the loser" vocals and bg vocals suddenly come from?
Sounded fake this whole time to me
Yeah, that’s kinda what I figured. Keep the real stuff close to chest until they can see what the producers could bring to the table.
I remember this was a coping mechanism I used back when “Breaking News” dropped though. “They probably had Teddy mix with an impersonator’s vocals to ensure the real thing didn’t leak, and they accidentally posted that one. The real MJ vocals will pop up soon.”
Yeah I like it, it's a bit of Beatles-esque also. Mark Ronson probably liked it enough to try to do something with itYeah, or Elton John. Like it's just your average mid 70s tune.
I don't believe in coincidences (most of the time). It seems there is some connection yesInterestingly, "It Don't Matter to Me" seems to have the same melody as Joe Sample's "X Marks the Spot (Marie Laveau)", which was released in 2002 as part of The Pecan Tree.
Joe Sample had previously worked with Paul Anka, playing keyboards on Anka's 1976 album The Painter, while Bill Schnee, who co-produced "X Marks the Spot", is credited on Anka's 1998 album A Body of Work as an engineer and for mastering a track.
Makes me wonder if it was an old unreleased track that Anka later gave them, or if Anka recreated the backing inspired by Sample's track… or maybe it's just a big coincidence.
Does the original "it don't matter to me" have the same piano chords as the leaked 2013 remix? If so, this could have been an ispiration for Michael's 1982 DBMR.Interestingly, "It Don't Matter to Me" seems to have the same melody as Joe Sample's "X Marks the Spot (Marie Laveau)", which was released in 2002 as part of The Pecan Tree.

In the Faking Michael podcast it's made clear that Teddy didn't think the songs were real at all.Since Teddy played that fake solo version of 'Joy' I am convinced he also just assumed it was the real MJ on those Cascio tracks..
I would love if some of those guys that make fake or AI MJ songs and mixes could work their magic and make a 90 minute/2 hour version of that podcast, I'd love to listen to it again but not in its released form.In the Faking Michael podcast it's made clear that Teddy didn't think the songs were real at all.
Actual content wise it probably was around that length if you cut out the recaps + overly slow dramatic fillerI would love if some of those guys that make fake or AI MJ songs and mixes could work their magic and make a 90 minute/2 hour version of that podcast, I'd love to listen to it again but not in its released form.
"Father" sounds like "Break of Dawn".Lots of Dr. Freeze writer's demos from 1998 - 2003 period on Bell Beefer channel. All of'em supposedly written for MJ.

Oh I didn't get that, although I did listen to the podcast: thanx! In the Faking Michael podcast it's made clear that Teddy didn't think the songs were real at all.
Stevie Wonder's 'As'?"Father" sounds like "Break of Dawn".
That's my point!Actual content wise it probably was around that length if you cut out the recaps + overly slow dramatic filler
I remember he was doing a live stream (maybe during Covid) and tried to pass off SWG's mix of Blood on the Dance Floor as his own...Oh I didn't get that, although I did listen to the podcast: thanx!
Teddy playing the fake 'Joy' version remains weird though
I thought about that, too.Stevie Wonder's 'As'?
Exact same melody, especially the chorus resembles that song.Stevie Wonder's 'As'?
